EXCITING NEWS!! To share some positive news with you – I am planning to be back treating week commencing 29th Jan and ready to take bookings following a brief period of post-operation recovery. I will be starting slowly doing a max of 3 horses daily so please bare with me with the diary
Typical encounters I work with include:
**Back, neck and pelvis abnormalities**
These problems may present for a host of reasons such as trauma (including falls and becoming cast, ill saddle fit, weakness due to age or stage of schooling career, rider weakness /asymmetry, adaptive gait due to lameness or due to Kissing Spine or DJD
**Soft tissue injuries**
Tendons, ligaments and muscles, including strains, sprains, desmitis and tendinopathy.
I also treat Joint stiffness, nerve injuries, wounds and scar tissue, splints and swellings via electrotherapy devices including PEMF, therapeutic ultrasound & Light Therapy. My treatments typically combine bodywork techniques that help the horse release tension in key junctions that most affect performance coupled with joint/soft tissue manual techniques and stretching.

*** VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE ***
Dear valued clients,
I hope you and your equine companions are in good health.
I am scheduled to undergo major hip surgery in the coming months. While I am confident that this procedure will improve my mobility and enable me to provide even better care for your horses in the future, it will require a short period of recovery and rehabilitation. My surgery is scheduled for 1st December 2023, and my anticipated recovery period is expected to be approximately 10-12 weeks, but dependent upon the severity of labrum tearing.
During this time, I will not be able to provide physiotherapy services, but I want to make sure that your horses continue to receive the care they need. I encourage you to consider booking an appointment for your horses before my operation. This will allow us to address any ongoing issues and ensure that your horses are in the best possible condition while I am in recovery. The length of my recovery will for most not inconvenience you as your horses are on a 8-12 week maintenance programme, so please book in ASAP so I can abuse my hip for the last time !!! 😉
