Onboarding in 7 Days 💪🏻 Starting Monday 2nd November…

Our 6 week ‘Festive Party Prep’ Programme onboards next Friday.

We actually onboard all our clients over 3 days so they have time to set up prior to actually starting on the Monday. let’s face it, Monday is everyone’s favourite start day!

I could tell you all about what the 6 week programme includes but in truth all you need to know is the outcome, so here are two scenarios…

Outcome 1 - fat loss

We will achieve this through specific nutrition support and do so in a balanced calorie deficit where you can still eat some of your favourite foods (sustainability).

We will have you working out under our coaches eye 3 x per week.

We’ll manage your sleep, water and mindset with daily and weekly check-ins

In 6 weeks times the foundations are set around better habits and behaviours that allow you to continue towards your goals and with our continued support.

Outcome 2 - get stronger and fitter

We will achieve this through specific nutrition support and do so in a balanced calorie deficit or surplus where you can still eat some of your favourite foods (sustainability).

We will have you working out under our coaches eye 3 x per week.

We’ll manage your sleep, water and mindset with daily and weekly check-ins

In 6 weeks times the foundations are set around better habits and behaviours that allow you to continue towards your goals and with our continued support.

To achieve the 2 outcomes many things are similar with only small adjustments required for each person.

The main adjustments are actually more to do with your starting point and how much change is required…

Then all you need is consistency and that only works when you have something that’s not overly restrictive.

Message us ‘festive’ to get involved or find out more about this 6 week programme intake.

Only 12 spaces available.

Another sign up for the 6 week programme today and it got me thinking…. 🤔

Every chance you are watching this wanting to achieve one of the following things ….

Improve your strength

Improve your fitness

Lose body fat

You might also keep feeling you know what to do but don’t do it…

That’s a lack of accountability.

It could be a lack of structure.

It almost always is because you have no goal or end date.

Now all these things have context around them… although, we truly want to get to a place where we do it for the health benefits alone such as…

I eat well because I know it nourishes my body

I weight lift because I know it will improve my strength

I do cardio because I know it will benefit my heart health and more often than not, my headspace.

For many starting though, although it’s all true, it’s often not enough.

You may need more incentive, more direct support and someone to encourage you, that what you are doing is working.

An end date (such as 6 weeks) can help build the foundations … it’s a stepping stone.

An event (think running event, holiday or wedding) can create enough enthusiasm to keep your mindset focused around training and nutrition.

The point is we won’t always be 💯 in it… it’s about improving your baseline. Can you be in it 80% of the time so when you have something coming up you aren’t that far away?

Knowing always being on it doesn’t mean ‘all in’ and actually all in is between that 80-100% mark … that is what sustainable actually looks like for most people and that’s okay! 👌

If you want some help finding what that looks like for you, reach out. We start on Monday, 2nd November! 🙌🏻

Last weekends fun…

We’ve booked in for next year but not for the reasons you may expect.

❌ Not to train one way for the next 12 months
❌ Not because we must beat our times with a new PB
❌ Not because we’re hybrid (I mean maybe we are) 😃

For some context, I’ve booked three external events for 2027…

Kilomathon - 13.1km (march)
Perth Half - 13.1 miles (August)
Hybrid Games - (October)

✅ They provide positive external (timeframe) and internal pressure (for yourself)…

Speaking for myself. I enjoy weight lifting. I’ll always do it. But with less sport in my life cardio can easily be left out.

The events keep me focused (mindset).
The events keep my (movement) varied
The events help my nutrition (macros).

✅ they provide accountability…

I’d say 90% of people when an event is booked dial in far better to all things training and nutrition…

✅ they provide purpose…

It’s great if you are happy training without a specific goal. If you can do that because you know it’s good for your health then that is a great place to be… I’d say I’m there.

However, having further purpose with some personal goals can level up your commitment or what everyone refers to as motivation.

👉 so for the next 12 months I’ll weight lift 4 times per week most likely to build on strength, and around 8-10 weeks out from each event will add in some specific training around the events I’ve booked….

And the main goal…

✅ Maintain or improve my fitness (health) for when I’m 46, 47…. 50 and so on!

If you’d like help building out your events for 2027 or want to join us at the Hybrid Games next year just reach out!

FYI - our Festive Party Prep 6 week programme is starting really soon. If you want to create the foundations for a healthier lifestyle using our 3 pillars Mindset, Movement, Macros then DM me saying ‘Party Prep’!

Hybrid for a day 😂

Great day had by all at the The Hybrid Games …

600m runs repeated 10x with a workout station after each run… 🥵

Amazing effort by everyone on the day but importantly, and the main reason for this post that represents our 3 pillars and what we stand for (other than getting some likes for our efforts of course!) 😂 is this…

We asked members to sign up for the games because we knew it might be outwith their comfort zones.

We knew by having an event to train for it would focus them in on the movement and macros elements of mindset, movement and macros.

The event - focus = mindset
The event - programme = movement
The event - nutrition = macros

It’s amazing what focus can bring. That’s why the three pillars are crucial to your health and fitness.

Sometimes you need external pressure. The real breakthrough is making it last. Making those habits stick without an event. Making that your standards.

That doesn’t mean being so focused all year round. It means knowing when you pull back, it’s a choice and deliberate, and when to put the foot down.

It was great seeing our members using our HYBRID|10 Programme to get ready for this event and seeing them develop so quickly… good news on that front also…

In 2 weeks time everyone on our Build programme will now also have access to our Hybrid|10 programme which is being built out for the full 12 months… same price. More options.

Well done all and also Matt, Herve and Ross who competed on Saturday!

FYI - Our 6 week programmes are designed specifically to help you get the understanding of our 3 pillars mindset, movement and macros. Our next programme launches early November. If you would like access before anyone else to the 6 week Festive Party Prep programme DM us the words ‘Party Prep’

I broke the golden rules of coaching… 😂 it also seems the same has happened with Scott and Lucy at Club 300 Glasgow South!

A little throwback to how Club 300 came about (the short version!) Club 300 Perth

Looking back I can’t believe how many people we have supported and also how many have supported us!

We have had some crazy times over the years and had to work through some situations we could never have envisioned.

The interesting thing looking back, is you just adapt.

Even during the most difficult times, the only thing that actually helped was looking for the solutions and remaining positive.

No matter the situation, that’s the only option we have.

Using our own 3 pillars to progress 🙌🏻

This one might divide opinion, but it’s a conversation I think we need to be having.

Firstly, this isn’t an anti-Mounjaro, anti-Wegovy or anti-weight-loss medication post 💉

For the right person, medically assessed and appropriately prescribed, these medications can be life-changing.

What concerns me is how quickly they’re becoming normalised for people who simply want to lose a few pounds — including people who are active, train regularly and may already be at a healthy weight.

I’m also seeing more coaches and influencers taking the approach of:

“If you’re going to take them, make sure you lift weights and eat plenty of protein.”

That’s not necessarily bad advice. But surely we’re missing an important question…

Do you actually need the medication in the first place?

If someone wants to lose 5–10lb, shouldn’t we be talking about training, nutrition, calories, movement, sleep and habits before accepting that prescription medication is simply the next step?

I also think the fitness industry needs to be careful that this doesn’t become another commercial opportunity.

There’s a big difference between supporting someone who has been medically prescribed a drug and normalising its use, then selling coaching to help manage the training and nutrition around it.

Everyone has the freedom to make their own choices about their body. This isn’t about judging anyone taking these medications.

It’s about making sure those choices are based on good information and appropriate medical advice — not social-media hype, commercial opportunity or simply the desire for a quicker result.

And if you’re already fit, healthy and at a healthy weight but still feel you need to lose another 5 or 10lb, maybe there’s another question worth asking:

Why do I feel I need to?

Well… that’s my thoughts!
