Today we carried out the routine service of the FlexStep platform lift at Peterborough Cathedral.

Working in such an iconic and historic building is always a privilege, and it’s great to help ensure that everyone can continue to access the Cathedral safely and independently. Accessibility is an important part of preserving historic buildings for everyone to enjoy, and Peterborough Cathedral is committed to providing inclusive access for its visitors.

The lift was fully inspected, tested and serviced, with everything operating correctly and no issues found.

A big thank you to the Cathedral team for their warm welcome. It’s always a pleasure to support such a remarkable landmark.

Another Flow X curved stairlift installed and looking right at home.

This one was fitted on a narrow, turning staircase, where a standard straight stairlift simply wouldn’t do the job. The Flow X is designed for exactly this kind of staircase, with a curved rail made to suit the property and a compact seat that keeps the stairs as usable as possible.

We also wanted the finished installation to look clean, bright and in keeping with the home — because a stairlift should make life easier without taking over the hallway.

Another PVE 30 vacuum elevator installation completed in North London.

This one is a 3-stop PVE 30, designed to provide compact, stylish and practical access between floors without the need for a traditional lift shaft.

The PVE vacuum elevator is a brilliant option where space is limited, giving customers a modern glass lift solution with a small footprint and a clean architectural finish.

On this project, our team supplied, installed and finished the lift area, including the surrounding panels, to give the installation a smart, completed look.

First day on site in Park Royal, London, installing a 3-stop PVE30 Eco vacuum elevator ✅

This compact home lift is being installed over three floors, giving the customer a stylish and practical way to future-proof their property without the need for a traditional lift shaft.

Day one is all about getting the main structure carefully positioned, aligned and built up correctly — the part of the job that sets the standard for the finished installation.

Another PVE vacuum lift installation completed in Peterborough ✅

This one was a PVE30 Eco, installed neatly into the customer’s home to provide simple, stylish and practical access between floors.

These lifts are a great option where space is limited, with a compact footprint, clear panoramic design and no traditional lift shaft required.

Installed by our own Anglian Lifts engineers, with the usual care, attention to detail and aftercare behind it.

Day 1 of a PVE 30 Eco 3 stop lift installation completed.

Today we were called out to a Bruno straight stairlift that had been removed by firefighters during a medical emergency.

In situations like this, the priority is always the person’s safety and giving the emergency services the access they need. Once everything had settled, the stairlift needed to be professionally reinstalled, checked over and made safe for use again.

Our engineers attended, refitted the lift correctly, tested the safety circuits and made sure it was running as it should before handing it back to the customer.

It’s a reminder that stairlifts are not just pieces of equipment — for many people they are the difference between being able to use their home safely and being stuck downstairs or upstairs.
