Hot drinks are the leading cause of burns to children in the UK*

We are so grateful to Laura and Gracie and family for sharing their story to show just how easily and quickly a hot drink accident can happen. A child can grab or knock over a drink in seconds and how you react and deal with the incident can have a lasting impact.

Gracie's family had taken a Mini First Aid class with Emily Mini First Aid Warwickshire, Coventry, Tamworth & Lutterworth - their learning had stuck and they did all the right things, and now Gracie is a thriving toddler with no visible burn scars.

This week, we’re supporting the Child Accident Prevention Trust campaign to help children lead active, healthy lives, safe from serious injury.

Child Safety Week is all about promoting accident prevention. Empowering families to make simple changes without feeling overwhelmed. We do this by sharing the really practical, simple things we can all do to keep children safe, and we'll be sharing information and tips this week across our socials.

A welcoming group just for mums-to-be where you can meet other pregnant mums, talk all things pregnancy and birth, and be surrounded by people who are going through all the same ups and downs!

Plus it is hosted by the wonderful Sophie of Bourne Hypnobirthing who can offer expert guidance and reassurance for all your questions and concerns.

Workplace qualification training Sibsey, Boston on Monday 6th July.

The following qualification training is available:

- Paediatric First Aid: Covers EYFS requirements. This is a 12-hour blended course (6 hours online and 6 hours face-to-face).
- Emergency Paediatric First Aid
- Emergency First Aid for Schools
- Emergency First Aid at Work
- First Aid at Work Re-qualification (Blended e-learning)

You may also combine courses on the day. For example, the Paediatric First Aid and Emergency First Aid at Work.

Our qualifications are FAIB and HSE recognised. The Emergency First Aid at Work for school staff specifically covers DfE and Ofsted requirements. Upon completion, delegates receive a qualification valid for three years. Fees include all materials, manual, online training, and electronic certification.

Spaces are limited to 12 participants, so we recommend booking early to secure your places. If you require more spaces than are currently showing as available online, please contact me directly.

Also offering private training for workplaces, parents, and children at your own setting at a time that suits you.
