☀️ Amber Heat-Health Alert in Place Across Parts of England ☀️

An amber heat-health alert is active from today until 14 August. During periods of hot weather, more people may be at risk of heat-related illness — not only those who are usually vulnerable.

Please take extra care and look out for family, friends, neighbours, and anyone who may find it difficult to cope in the heat.

💧 Stay hydrated and drink plenty of fluids
🏠 Keep your home as cool as possible
🌤️ Avoid direct sun during the hottest parts of the day
👶 Pay special attention to young children, older adults, and people with existing health conditions
