Hot weather and trips to the beach are all good fun. A lot is being made of playing in the sea and drowning and rightly so. But have you heard of dry drowning or secondary drowning? We tend find most people do not get taught this as part of their First Aid courses.

Secondary drowning is a rare problem that can occur when someone inhales water that gets into their lungs and causes trouble breathing.
