Our residents at Cedar Court Care Home have been busy growing their own tomatoes in the garden, watching them grow and enjoying a little hands-on gardening along the way. 🌱

From planting to caring and finally seeing the fruits of their efforts, it’s been a lovely way to enjoy the outdoors, share conversations and make the most of our garden. ☀️

A little creativity.

Our residents recently enjoyed a relaxing creative activity, making their own lavender bags. 🌿💜

From choosing the scents to filling and creating each bag, it was a wonderful opportunity to get creative, share conversations and enjoy the simple pleasure of making something by hand.

Because at Kara Healthcare, we believe meaningful moments don’t have to be complicated.

Sometimes, they’re made with a little lavender, a lot of care, and time spent together. 💚

We were delighted to be invited to a very special 95th birthday celebration at the Bowls Club in Whittlesey — an afternoon filled with good company, laughter and plenty of reasons to celebrate.
But the biggest surprise came when we learned that the donations from the celebration were being given to Cedar Court Care Home
Thanks to the incredible generosity of Gordon Gilbert, Cedar Court received an amazing £710 donation. 🎉💚
It’s moments like this that show just how much care homes mean to the communities around them. A birthday became an opportunity to give back, and that generosity will go towards making a difference to the residents at Cedar Court.
A huge thank you to Gordon and everyone who contributed. And most importantly, happy 95th birthday! 🎂🥂

🌸💐 Creativity was in full bloom at Cedar Court Care Home! 💐🌸

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful flower arranging session, creating beautiful floral displays while sharing conversations, laughter, and plenty of smiles. 🌼

Flower arranging is a lovely way to encourage creativity, support wellbeing, and bring a little extra colour and joy to the day. Everyone did a fantastic job, and the finished arrangements looked absolutely beautiful! 🌷✨

🟡🔴 Friendly Competition at Cedar Court! 🔴🟡

It was game on at Cedar Court Care Home as our residents enjoyed a fun-filled game of Connect 4! 🎉

With plenty of strategy, laughter, and a little friendly competition, everyone had a fantastic time putting their skills to the test. Activities like these are a wonderful way to encourage social interaction, keep minds active, and create lots of smiles along the way. 💚
