Cambridge Safety was established in Peterborough in 1998 primarily to provide assistance to organisations in meeting their legal obligations with respect to health, safety and the environment. Through this work it has become apparent that, not only do organisations need competent technical assistance, but also need to give employees at all levels the skills to work safely and to prevent environmen

tal harm. Cambridge Safety provides a wide range of cost effective training solutions with this aim in mind. Our focus is on providing easily accessible development opportunities which is why the majority of our course programmes are provided on a day-release basis to enable delegates to fit their development needs alongside their existing work commitments. All our courses are supported by lively enthusiastic presentations, quality handouts and relevant HSE publications. Our photos and video clips are used to demonstrate examples of both good and bad practice to delegates. Our pass rates for all course programmes exceed the national averages by far, so if you have the commitment, you are in safe hands! For those comapanies needing additional support we offer a range of tailored consultancy projects covering the range of health, safety, well-being and environmental issues. Including enivironmental and H&S management system development, audits, inspections, risk assessments and aspect assessments.

Lovely feedback from a delegate who studied both in the classroom and one of our e-learning packages –

“I’ve now completed two courses with Cambridge Safety, first the NEBOSH General Certificate as a classroom-based course, and more recently the NEBOSH Construction Certificate via e-learning.

In both cases, the course content was excellent, and Jackie and her team were always quick to respond to any queries I raised by email. I also found the end-of- element reviews particularly helpful, as they clearly highlighted any gaps in my understanding and supported my revision.

Based on my experience, Cambridge Safety would be my first choice for any further NEBOSH qualifications.”

Nebosh Malpractice and Use of AI

There have been an increased number of cases of investigation of use of AI in exams, it is essential all delegates do not use AI in their work.

We have produced a 10 minute video explaining what Malpractice is https://youtu.be/lG_tbHCax3A

Today is World Drowning Prevention Day. 230,000 lives are lost to drowning each year and while we may associate drowning with swimming pools, lakes and seas; drowning is a significant risk within the construction sector.

Water ingress can quickly fill excavations, leaving workers extremely vulnerable. Always ensure you are aware of the location of water and sewage pipes, be aware when working near rivers or lakes and always check dewatering pumps are fully operational and fault free.

Stay safe.
