๐ฆถ What is a Biomechanical Assessmentโฆ and why might you need one?
A biomechanical assessment looks at how your feet, ankles, knees and lower limbs move and work together โ helping us identify what could be contributing to pain, discomfort or recurring injuries.
At The Fane Clinic, your assessment may include:
๐ฃ Looking at your foot posture & alignment
๐ถ Assessing how you walk and move
๐ฆต Checking joint movement, muscle strength & flexibility
๐ฑ 3D foot scanning
๐ Looking at areas of pressure or imbalance
๐ Discussing your footwear
๐ฆถ Creating a treatment plan tailored to you โ which may include exercises, rehabilitation or custom orthotics where appropriate
Pain isnโt always coming from where you feel it. Sometimes we need to look at the whole picture to understand whatโs going on.
Whether youโre struggling with heel pain, arch pain, ankle, knee or lower-limb problems, or simply want to understand the way you move, a biomechanical assessment could help.
