☀️🚶‍♀️☕ A Wonderful Walk to Costa Coffee! ☕🚶‍♂️☀️

Some of our lovely residents enjoyed a relaxing stroll to Peterborough Hospital, where we stopped at Costa Coffee for a well-earned treat. 🌳💚

The sunshine made for the perfect day to enjoy a gentle walk together. Once we arrived, everyone enjoyed a delicious cup of coffee, a slice of cake, plenty of laughter, and a good chat while we put the world to rights! 🍰☕💬

Afterwards, we took our time with a steady walk back to the home, enjoying the fresh air and each other's company. It's the simple moments like these that create wonderful memories and bring so many smiles. ❤️

A lovely afternoon filled with friendship, fresh air, and fantastic company! 🥰

🔥🚒 A Wonderful Visit from Our Local Fire Brigade! 🚒🔥

Today, we were delighted to welcome our local firefighters to Ashlynn Grange for a fantastic morning of learning, conversation, and community spirit.

Residents loved getting up close to the fire engine, chatting with the firefighters, asking questions, and learning more about their important role in keeping our community safe. The team also shared valuable fire safety advice, making the visit both enjoyable and informative. 😊

Afterwards, everyone came together in Fitzwilliam Café for a delicious late brunch, where residents and firefighters enjoyed tea, coffee, croissants, sandwiches, and scones while sharing stories and laughter. It was wonderful to see so many smiles and meaningful conversations throughout the morning. ☕🥐❤️

A huge thank you to our local fire brigade for taking the time to visit us and make the day so special. We truly appreciate everything you do! 👨‍🚒👏

💙 we were delighted to welcome a volunteer from the Alzheimer's Society, who delivered an informative and engaging talk about dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

The session was attended by our resident ambassador, residents' families and members of staff, giving everyone the opportunity to learn more about dementia, understand the challenges people living with the condition may face, and discover how we can all make a positive difference.

At the end of the session, we were proud to become Dementia Friends, demonstrating our commitment to creating a more understanding, supportive and dementia-friendly community. 💙 It was a valuable, inspiring and enjoyable afternoon, and we'd like to thank everyone who attended and helped make it such a success.

Together, we can make a difference—one conversation at a time.💙

🦙🌟 A Very Special Visit to Ashlynn Grange! 🌟🦙

What an unforgettable afternoon we've had at Ashlynn Grange! Our residents were delighted to welcome five beautiful alpacas for a very special visit. Two of our fluffy friends even took a stroll around the home, bringing plenty of smiles, laughter, and excitement wherever they went! ❤️

Residents loved getting up close to the alpacas, gently stroking their soft coats and hand-feeding them delicious treats of fresh fruit and vegetables. 🥕🍎 Watching the alpacas' funny personalities shine through brought so much joy, with lots of laughter and wonderful conversations throughout the afternoon.

Animal visits are always a fantastic way to encourage reminiscence, spark conversation, and create meaningful moments, and today was no exception. It was heartwarming to see so many happy faces and memories being made together.

A huge thank you to Gorefield Alpacas for bringing these wonderful animals to visit us and for helping create such a memorable day for our residents. Your kindness and support are truly appreciated, and we can't wait to welcome you back again soon! 🦙💚

🐰🐱🐔🐶 What an unforgettable day at Ashlynn Grange Care Home! 🥰💚

Today we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Michelle and her wonderful animal therapy visitors, and what a fantastic visit it was! Our residents were full of smiles as they met two adorable 5-week-old baby rabbits 🐰🐰, a beautiful 6-week-old kitten 🐱, Michelle's friendly Chihuahua 🐶, and even a lovely Roster 🐔!

There were lots of cuddles, gentle strokes, laughter, and plenty of heartwarming moments as everyone enjoyed spending time with these gorgeous animals. Watching the residents' faces light up with joy was truly priceless, and the happiness spread right across Ashlynn Grange. ❤️

Animal therapy is such a wonderful way to encourage conversation, create special memories, and bring comfort and companionship. Thank you so much, Michelle, for sharing your amazing animals with us and making our day so special. We can't wait to welcome you back! 🌟

💃✨ What an incredible weekend we had at Ashlynn Grange! ✨💃

A huge thank you to EDA Dance Academy for coming along and putting on such a fantastic performance for our residents. 🌟 Children aged 5 to 15 wowed everyone with their amazing dance routines, confidence and enthusiasm.

Our residents absolutely loved every minute, clapping, cheering and smiling throughout the performance. It was wonderful to see different generations coming together to share such a special experience. ❤️

To thank the children for their hard work, we treated them to refreshing ice lollies, cakes and drinks, which were very well deserved after all their energetic dancing! 🍦🧁🥤

A heartfelt thank you to everyone at EDA Dance Academy for bringing so much joy, laughter and entertainment to Ashlynn Grange. We can't wait to welcome you back again soon! 💖
