Suddenly, at Pitfour Lake on Saturday 13th June 2026, Alistair Innes Donald (Ali) aged 75 years. Dearly loved husband of Jacqueline, a much-loved and loving dad of Martin and Kerry, a respected father-in-law of Neil and the late Merrisa, a proud and devoted granda of Justine, a loving great granda to Lewis and Harris, a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle and a good friend to many. Very sadly missed. Celebration of Ali’s life to be held in The Almanythie Hall, Grange Road, Peterhead on Friday 26th June at 10.30 a.m. to which all friends are respectfully invited. Cremation thereafter private. Family flowers only, but if so desired, donations in lieu of flowers at the hall door for Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance.

Ethel, Irvine, Susan and family of the late Irvine Buchan wish to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the many kind and thoughtful expressions of sympathy extended to them in so many ways following the recent sad loss of Irvine. Grateful thanks to all staff at Spynie Care Home, Elgin for their care over the years; to Mr Robert Mackie for his visitation and comforting service with further thanks to Buchanhaven Hearts for the refreshments provided. Thanking also those who donated so generously towards Alzheimer’s Research UK and Diabetes UK, along with Paula’s Corner for the beautiful floral tributes and finally, heartfelt thanks to everyone who paid their last respects both in The Almanythie Hall and Balmoor Cemetery.

John, Elaine and families would like to thank most sincerely all relatives, friends and neighbours for the many kind and thoughtful expressions of sympathy extended to them during their recent sad loss of Margaret, a much-loved mum, mother-in-law, grunny, great grunny and friend. Grateful thanks must go to Mintlaw district nurses, Margaret’s carers and latterly doctors and nurses at Roxburghe House for their care and support. Thanks also to Janet Dick for her very comforting words and to the Station Hotel for the lovely teas provided. Finally, to all who paid their last respects and donated towards local charities which will be forwarded to New Arc Sanctuary.

Peacefully at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary on Thursday 11th June 2026, Robina Margaret Martin Balloch (Ruby), aged 93 years. Dearly loved wife of the late William (Bill) Nicol, a much loved and loving mum of Iain, a respected mother-in-law of Alison and a proud and devoted grandma. Very sadly and sorely missed. A celebration for her life will be held in The Almanythie Hall, Grange Road, Peterhead on Tuesday 23rd June at 1.30p.m. to which all friends are respectfully invited and thereafter to Grange Cemetery. Peacefully after a long illness bravely fought, at Peterhead Community Hospital, on Friday 5th June 2026, Roger Lamb aged 74 years. Dearly loved and cherished husband of Anne, a much-loved dad of Garry and Graeme, a proud and loving granda, and a dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. Roger will be very sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
