Tony’s family would like to thank most sincerely all relatives, friends and neighbours for the many kind and thoughtful expressions of sympathy extended to them during their recent sad loss of a much-loved dad, father-in-law, grandad, great grandad and uncle. Grateful thanks must go to doctors and staff at Ward 110, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for their care and support. John and family would like to thank most sincerely all relatives, friends and neighbours for all the many kind and thoughtful expressions of sympathy extended to them in so many ways, including the generous donations received in lieu of flowers which will be forwarded to SSPCA, during their recent sad and sudden loss of Isobel, a dearly loved wife, mum, grandma, great-grandma, sister and auntie. Grateful thanks to the paramedics who attended at the house for their care and professionalism and also to our neighbour John for all his help and assistance at the time of Isobel’s passing. Thanking Angela Johnson (Humanist) for her kind visit and for such a fitting celebration of Isobel’s life along with Robert Mackie Funeral Directors for their guidance and to all who paid their last respects at Baldarroch Crematorium.

Peacefully in her sleep at her home, holding her husband’s hand, on Monday 24th August 2026, Evelyn Johnstone Thomson (nee Silver) aged 86 years. Beloved wife of George, a much-loved and loving mum of Derek, Lynne, Andrew and Susan, a dear mother-in-law, and a proud and loving granny to her 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Very sadly missed. Celebration for Evelyn’s life to be held in The Almanythie Hall, Grange Road, Peterhead on Thursday 3rd September at 10.30 a.m. to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Cremation thereafter private. Family flowers only, but if so desired, donations in lieu of flowers at the Hall door for Prostate Cancer UK.

It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Alfie, on his 89th birthday, after a short illness at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with his family by his side, on Sunday 23rd August 2026. Loving dad to Dianne and Stephen, stepdad to Wendy and Kenneth and husband to Pam. Memorial Service to be held in The Almanythie Hall, Grange Road, Peterhead on Thursday 3rd September at 1.30 p.m. to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. No flowers please, but if so desired, donations in lieu of flowers at the Hall door for Alzheimer Scotland.
