A wonderful afternoon in aid of Petworth Cottage! 🌿

Our annual Alfresco Lunch, hosted by one of our faithful Friends, has been a much-loved fixture in the Friends of Petworth Cottage diary for 26 years, with only the Covid years interrupting this special tradition.

Yesterday afternoon (Sun 23 Aug), guests enjoyed delicious food, good company and an auction, all while raising valuable funds to support the ongoing work of Petworth Cottage.

A huge thank you to our generous host, everyone who helped make the afternoon possible, and all those who attended and supported. Your continued friendship and generosity make a real difference. 💚

✨ We love finding ways to bring our residents, families and friends together.

Recently, we stepped back into the glamour of the Roaring Twenties for a Gatsby-inspired afternoon tea, complete with delicious homemade cakes, freshly baked scones, savoury treats, a raffle and, of course, plenty of tea.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a wonderful afternoon.

We're looking forward to joining the celebrations at this year's Fete in the Park - Petworth.

Come along for a fantastic day of entertainment, activities, food, drink and family fun as the event celebrates its 20th anniversary. We'll be there with our own stall and would love to meet you, answer your questions and say hello.

Meet Le-Anne our Senior Health Care Assistant here at Petworth Cottage 💚

❤️ Likes: Watching light-hearted boxsets, working out, exploring the paranormal, sunbathing, and drinking prosecco
❌ Dislikes: Small spaces and eating fish

And here’s something you might not know about her… when she was 18, Le-Anne lived in Kenya for a year. 🌍✨

After nearly two decades at PCNH, Le-Anne continues to bring experience, compassion, and plenty of personality to the home every day.

🌺 We kicked off Care Home Open Week with a Hawaiian-themed BBQ, bringing together residents, families, visitors, and staff for an afternoon of sunshine, great food, and plenty of laughter.

From colourful decorations and leis to ice creams in the garden, there was a real sense of community throughout the day.

🏡 Care Home Open Week is here!

We're delighted to be taking part in Care Home Open Week and opening our doors to the local community, from Monday 15 to Sunday 21 June!

It's a wonderful opportunity to discover life at Petworth Cottage, meet our team, spend time with our residents, and see first-hand how modern care supports people to live well.

Throughout the week we'll be hosting a range of special events, including a Hawaiian-themed BBQ, a pop-up shop and a Gatsby-inspired afternoon tea. ☕️

Whether you're considering care for a loved one, interested in volunteering, or simply curious to learn more about what we do, we'd love to welcome you.

Meet Anna, one of our Health Care Assistants here at Petworth Cottage 💚

❤️ Likes: Cooking and baking, listening to and singing Italian music, and tennis

And here’s something you might not know about her… Anna has a ginger cat called Archie, who she says is still her baby even though he’s now 3 years old. 🐈✨

In her first year at PCNH, Anna has already brought warmth, kindness, and great energy to the home.

From arranging flowers and serving afternoon teas to caring for our gardens, fundraising and supporting our charity behind the scenes, our volunteers make a real difference every day.
