Today we enjoyed our monthly visit to the Forest & Vale for a lovely coffee together. It’s always such a treat to get out and about, enjoy a change of scenery, and have a bit of a knowledge quiz at the same time.

Today at Arden House we celebrated the wonderful Sheila, who turned 100 years old — a truly special day for a truly special lady. Her warmth, humour, and gentle spirit brighten every moment, and it was an honour to share this incredible milestone with her and those who love her.
Happy 100th Birthday, Sheila. What a privilege it is to celebrate you. 💛🎂

What a proud moment at Arden House today…
We’ve harvested our very first crop of potatoes, grown with care and plenty of smiles.

There’s something so special about enjoying fresh produce you’ve nurtured from the very beginning.

Fresh produce always tastes better when you’ve grown it yourself.

Here’s to many more home‑grown veggies.

What an incredible experience we’ve had at Arden House today. We welcomed some very special furry friends — goats, guinea pigs, and the cutest little rabbit.

The smiles, the joy, and the laughter filled the whole home.

The goats were full of mischief and had us laughing from start to finish. The joy on our residents’ faces said it all.

Moments like these remind us how much happiness a little animal magic can bring. 💛🐐🐇

Thank you to Anna and Sophie from Butterwick Alpaca Retreat. We really have had an amazing afternoon.

🌞 A Huge Thank You from Arden House! 🌞

A massive thank you to everyone who joined us on Sunday for our Summer Fair. Your support, kindness, and enthusiasm made the day truly special.

Thanks to you, we raised an incredible £325.00 for our residents’ amenity fund — money that will go directly towards creating even more lovely activities, treats, and experiences for everyone here at Arden House.

🌞 Summer Fair Joy at Arden House! 🌞

What an amazing afternoon we’ve had here at Arden House for our Summer Fair. The sun finally came out, the rain disappeared, and our garden filled with laughter and smiles. Friends came together — old and new — and we were delighted to welcome fresh faces from our wonderful community.

There were cheers and excitement as we eagerly awaited our raffle numbers to be called, adding to the fun of the day. Moments like these remind us why we love afternoons like this… full of warmth, connection, and joy.

💛 Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped out — you made it truly special.

I would also like to thank all the staff and families who very kindly brought in donations for the raffle, and to Linda, Melody, Kaylee and Lilian for all the amazing baking. Special thanks to Melody for getting everything set up, wrapping gifts and just being by my side and Yvonne for helping us out with the hamper raffle 💛
