Mick was a much-loved husband, dad, grandad, friend and colleague, and a man who was deeply respected throughout the funeral profession. He dedicated so much of his life to caring for others with kindness, compassion and dignity, touching the lives of countless families and those fortunate enough to work alongside him.

He will be so very missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Mick’s family would like to extend a warm invitation to all who knew and loved him to join them in celebrating his life.

Father’s Day can be a day filled with love, laughter, and celebration. But for many families, it can also be a day of reflection, remembrance, and longing for someone who is no longer here.

As funeral directors, we are privileged to hear the stories of fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures who have left lasting legacies in the lives of those they loved. We see first-hand the impact a father can have—not only in life, but in the memories and values he leaves behind.

Today, we celebrate all fathers: those who are with us, those who are no longer here, those who stepped into the role when they didn’t have to, and those who continue to guide us through the memories we hold close.
