Another Clean Sheet Never Give Up award winner for 2025-2026 season. Hunter District Under 15s Goalkeeper Max H***e!

Max was diagnosed with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) as a small child. In the early stages hes spent long periods in hospital while the docs figured the best way to move forward. To see how far he has come through his teens is a small miricle. He still lives with the condition now releying on regular paiful injections in his knees to keep him going. He even had a massive flare before his cup semi-final but played through the pain! The young man is a credit to himself and his family for the way he constantly dusts himself off to lead as normal life as possible!

Max also had to step up a lot more at home this year as his Dad was involved in a serious motorbike accident nearly losing his leg, Terrible for any teenager to go through...but water off a ducks back to a lad like Maxy!

We would love if we could to offer sponsorship to all local football teams. Unfortunately we are not in the position to sponsor full kits and we try to help whenever and wherever we can.

Our inbox has been inundated with queries to sponsor and unfortunately when we reply we are left with no reply to our message.

We will continue to do what we can in grassroots football but unfortunately main sponsorship of kits is not what we can offer and we apologise and wish we could 🩷

We can very proud to confirm that next season we will be offering Sunday morning football for and within our organisation!

John Endacott is back on the sidelines with a mixture of young and old with the key element of coming together and playing Sunday morning football, meeting you new people and building friendships and relationships!

A quote was heard as I crossed the finish line this morning at the Plymouth 10K:
“So many people with so many different reasons why they are running.”

I had to be on the Hoe for 9:30am and honestly, I dragged myself out of bed at the very last minute — with a voice in my head and a text from my daughter saying, “Where are you?”

People never really know what someone else is carrying, but for a few hours you share the same road with thousands of other people.

I didn’t want to do it. I’d done no training, strapped up my knees, and just gave it my best shot. The last 2K was done with no shoes on — just to get across that finish line.

A real moment of “you never know until you’re in someone else’s shoes.”

Now I’m so glad I did it. An hour of music, my own thoughts, and somehow… a personal best.
Well done to every runner and every supporter along the route today ❤️

The first of our 2026 Never Give Up Awards!! Last night we ventured to Tamerton Foliots presentation evening to present our first award!

We met a young lad called Vinnie who was nominated last year who narrowly missed out as a winner! He was nominated again this year 3 times! Vinnie is a young gentlemen who has battled so much in his young life (some in which is private and confidential) and was a joy to meet!

Please see part of the nomination below!

I would like to nominate a lad from our team for the clean sheet award. I feel he literally sums up what you guys are about!

All of this massive change has happened whilst he is also waiting to be assessed for ADHD.

Football has been escape and despite his struggles (of which there have been many) he turns up to football with a smile on his face every week.

He has a really fantastic attitude and is an unbelievable team player. He will fill in in any position and gives 100%, every single time.

We would love for this player to be recognised for his attitude and resilience. I think this would mean more than you could ever imagine to this little lad.

Congratulations Vinnie!! That makes in 3 awards in 2 years for Tamerton Foliot Youth!
