Karen has been part of the At Plymouth Care family for quite some time, first joining us as a Health Care Assistant before stepping into her current role as our fantastic On-Call Lead.

💙 Good Luck, Yayra! 💙

Today we say goodbye to one of the most kind-hearted and compassionate members of our At Plymouth Care family.

After more than two wonderful years with us, today is Yayra's final day as she begins an exciting new chapter in her career at Derriford Hospital. While we're incredibly sad to see her go, we couldn't be prouder of everything she has achieved.

Yayra joined At Plymouth Care as a brand-new Healthcare Assistant, with no previous experience in the care sector. It didn't take long for everyone to see what an incredible person she is. Through her kindness, empathy, dedication and natural ability to care for others, she quickly progressed into the role of Senior Healthcare Assistant.

Throughout her time with us, Yayra has been a fantastic role model for her colleagues and has made a lasting difference to the lives of so many clients and their families. Her gentle nature, warm smile and willingness to go above and beyond have never gone unnoticed. She truly embodies what person-centred care is all about.

Although we'll miss seeing her around the office and out in the community, we know she has an incredibly bright future ahead of her. Derriford Hospital is gaining a compassionate and hardworking member of staff, and we have no doubt she will make just as much of an impact there as she has here.

Yayra, thank you for everything you've done for At Plymouth Care. Thank you for your kindness, your professionalism, your unwavering support for both clients and colleagues, and for being such a valued part of our team.

We wish you every success and happiness in your new role. Once part of the At Plymouth Care family, always part of the At Plymouth Care family. 💙

What a lovely day out! 🌞😊

Today, our client John and his wonderful carer, Di, enjoyed a fantastic trip to the waterfront. They spent time taking in the beautiful views, enjoying the fresh air, and making the most of the sunshine.

To top off a great outing, they stopped for a delicious lunch together before heading home with smiles on their faces. 💙

It's days like these that remind us how important getting out, staying active, and sharing special moments can be. Thank you, Di, for your compassionate support and for helping create such wonderful memories.

💷 Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
PIP is available to help people with the extra costs of living with a long-term physical or mental health condition or disability. It's based on how your condition affects your daily life and mobility, rather than the diagnosis itself.

If your mobility is affected by a disability or health condition, you may be eligible for a Blue Badge, helping you park closer to your destination.

🎬 CEA Cinema Card
Love going to the cinema? You may qualify for a CEA Card, which allows a carer or companion to attend participating cinemas with you free of charge.

🚌 Travel Support
