Welcome to our brand-new Saltash Furniture Shop!

Take a look inside as shop manager Hayley, our dedicated staff team and incredible volunteers celebrate the opening of our biggest-ever Saltash store.

Officially opened by Margaret, one of our longest-serving volunteers with 31 years of service, the new shop is a major step forward. At 5,500 sq ft, it's almost seven times larger than our previous Saltash shop, giving us space to offer furniture, electricals, clothing, homewares and so much more.

Don't worry, our original Saltash shop is still open too (Tuesday to Saturday) and is now our dedicated Value Shop, meaning there are even more opportunities to shop, donate and support local hospice care.

To help fill our new store, we need your donations more than ever. Our Donation Station is located in the rear car park, making it easy to drop off items, and we also offer a free furniture collection service.

A huge thank you to the Saltash community for your continued support. We can't wait to welcome you through the doors.

Have you seen the Sanctuary lighthouse yet?

The artist, Alice Nimmo, was inspired by the compassionate care her much-loved mum Vicky Couch received from St Luke’s.

Alice’s Sanctuary lighthouse is both a tribute to the team whose dedication to patients never wavers and a reminder of why that care remains so important for local families today.

Your next running challenge could be much closer to home.

Take on the Run Plymouth Plymouth 10K or Half Marathon and go the extra mile for your community by running for St Luke’s.

Every mile you run and all the money you raise will help us reach local people when their time is running short, helping them live well to the end of their lives and make precious memories with those dearest to them.

We’ll be with you along the way too, supporting your fundraising, providing you with a St Luke’s running vest and cheering you on when race day arrives.

Henry's lighthouse shows the range of vessels that can be seen on the Plymouth Sound. The waves, colours and reflections can be dazzling one minute and muted the next.

Peering over the Pier

Glen’s inspiration for his beautiful bright, colourful and eye-catching design comes from the vintage Tourists posters of the 1920’s and 30’s. The wonderful graphic style and simplistic imagery has a real beauty of its own and combined with wonderful bright colours it really does stand out. The image is of a young couple looking over the old Pier at Plymouth in its heyday and over the wonderful Plymouth coastline on a beautiful sunny day. Sadly the pier was unfortunately destroyed by bombs during WW2 but is still preserved in this image.

Mr. Smee-ton

The pair have transformed the lighthouse inspired by Plymouths Smeaton Tower into the children’s character of Mr. Smee. First heard of in the 1904 play Peter Pan, Mr. Smee is now ready for his first adventure exploring the Plymouth Sea.
