Poles APart AP - Alternative Education Provision Poles APart AP is an Alternative Education Provision based in Devon and Cornwall. We are built on passion and genuine care for the students we work with.

We cater for ages 4-18 and have centres in Plymouth, Exeter, Bodmin and Tiverton. Poles APart AP is an alternative provision with a difference and we are proud to be working with young people aged 4-18 across Devon and Cornwall. As a provision and a staff team, we genuinely love what we do and appreciate how rewarding it is to know we are changing the lives of the young people in our care. We aim

to allow students to reset, reflect, and re-engage, thereby giving them the confidence to positively change their pathway, which in turn supports them in leading happy and successful lives.

🎬 You are invited to our pop-up cinema evening! 🎬

As part of our Guiding Lights Project, in partnership with St Luke's Hospice, we are hosting a wonderful evening celebrating our Beacon students' creativity, achievements, and hard work. ✨

📅 Thursday 9th July
🕕 6pm — 7:30pm
📍 Leadworks, Stonehouse

Our pop-up cinema will showcase films and creative work produced by our students, there will be homemade sweet treats and student-crafted items available to purchase in aid of St Luke's Hospice. 🎉

Tickets are free but we kindly ask for a donation to St Luke's Hospice, which can be made in advance or on the day. 💛

⚠️ Capacity is limited so we recommend booking early! Tickets are initially limited to two per student to ensure every family has the opportunity to attend. Any remaining tickets will be released one week before the event on a first come first served basis.

🌟 Life skills in action across our centres this week!

A Central student got stuck into cleaning one of the cars 🚗, our Bodmin students took part in a beach clean 🏖️, and one of our Beacon students learned some valuable first aid skills 🩹.

It is moments like these that remind us how much learning happens outside of a textbook. Brilliant work all round! 💛

One of our students absolutely loves animals, and that passion sits right at the heart of her bespoke programme. Spending time with animals supports emotional regulation, builds confidence, and provides a sense of calm and connection that is truly invaluable for so many of our young people. 💛

Bodmin Wild Minds have been having some incredible adventures already this term! A visit to the Cornwall Seal Sanctuary 🦭 where they got up close to some truly beautiful animals and learning about conservation followed by the stunning St Michael's Mount 🏰, soaking up the history and those breathtaking views.

We really do have some incredible places on our doorstep and we will never stop making the most of them! 💛
