We are all Energy, Frequency and Vibration. Which is absolutely true.
We only have a limited amount of energy at our disposal and must choose wisely and mindfully where we use it.
That said we will, often, have situations, events, social gatherings, etc, that will challenge our energy resources. When these situations arise it is imperative we absolutely take the time to recharge, unwind and relax.
Our Founder, Creator and Owner of The Sacred Willow, Antony John Collier experienced this of late and chose to retreat to Cornwall for a few days.
We asked him to share some insights into this trip:
Here's Antony's words and thoughts.
Cornwall has always drawn me in, i have early memories of the beautiful County, spending time there with relatives and family.
Growing up, we often went over the bridge to see Aunties, Uncles and Cousins, since then i have always felt a strong connection with the land, especially West, Penzance, St Ives, Zennor, Cape Cornwall.
On this occasion i chose to base myself in the Beautiful St Ives for some alone time.
We questioned Antony's 'Alone Time' Obviously in a place so used to tourism and busy summer days!
For sure, it was a busy time, however, there are plenty of places on the coast and surrounding moors where one can just sit and soak up the views of people enjoying the areas natural beauty, cobbled streets, boutique shops and hostelries. Although one is never truly alone in Cornwall, it is a very spiritual land indeed.
We asked Antony if there were any things in particular that made this trip special.
Of course, i always research what is going on when i visit somewhere and on this occasion it was a Yoga Nidra class and meditation sound-bath at the lovely Porthmeor Studios, which actually guided me to stay for an extra day and keep my phone pretty much switched off for most of my stay, and go old school with my little Nikon coolpix camera and take some great pictures which i will share on this post.
We also asked Antony to share his ethos on recharging his energy resources and why it is so important.
Well, thank you, great question.
When one's passion and way of life is about healing, helping, guiding and supporting, not only one's self, but the wider community, one would not be able to do that with conviction, compassion and honesty if we first don't take care of ourselves.
Holistic Therapy, in whatever modality we choose, takes energy, a lot of energy, there have been times, post treatments, where one has been guided to rest and refuel for at least 24 hours. ๐
We must thank Antony for this deep sharing and of course for providing, what we believe, sound advice, along with some beautiful pictures of the Gem that is St ives.
