Fat-Dissolving Injections

Procedure:

Mole Removal using Fibroblast Plasma Pen!

A plasma pen removes a mole by using a tiny electrical/plasma arc to create controlled heat and tissue damage at the surface of the lesion. The damaged tissue then forms a crust and the body gradually replaces the injured skin. Plasma pens are classified by the FDA as low-power electrosurgical devices for destruction/removal of skin lesions.

What happens during the procedure:

•The mole is assessed first. This is particularly important with a pigmented mole because a suspicious mole should be examined first rather than simply just removed.
•The area is cleaned and numbed.
•The plasma pen is applied to the mole. The arc produces heat that ablates/destroys the superficial tissue.
•The treated area usually becomes red and dark, followed by formation of a small brown/black crust.
The crust eventually separates, leaving new, delicate skin underneath.

After plasma pen mole removal, the area usually forms a small crust/scab as it heals. Let it come away naturally and avoid picking or scratching it. Once the crust has healed, the skin may remain pink or darker/lighter than usual for several weeks while it settles.

Avoid direct sunlight while it heals. New skin is particularly sensitive to UV rays, which can cause dark pigmentation, irritation and a more noticeable scar. Keep the area covered from the sun where possible, and once the skin has fully closed, use a SPF 30–50 regularly.

EAR IRRIGATION AND MICROSUCTION
This is some of our patients ears we have checked recently.

Ear Irrigation:
Ear irrigation is a procedure used to remove excess earwax, debris, or in some cases, small foreign objects from the ear canal by gently flushing it with warm water.

How it works:
- We check your ear with an otoscope to make sure irrigation is safe.
- Warm water is gently directed into the ear canal using an irrigation device.
- The water loosens and washes out the wax.
- The ear is examined again to ensure the blockage has been removed, and the ear is dried afterward.

Ear irrigation is best suited for people who:
- Have impacted earwax causing reduced hearing, a blocked sensation, or discomfort.
- Have tried earwax-softening drops but still have a persistent blockage.
- Have no history of eardrum perforation or significant ear disease.

Ear Microsuction:
Ear microsuction is a procedure that removes earwax using a small, gentle suction device under direct magnified vision. Unlike ear irrigation, it does not use water, making it a preferred option for many people.

How it works:
- We examine your ear using a microscope.
- We will insert a thin suction tube into the ear canal.
- The suction carefully removes earwax, debris, or dried skin while we watch the process in real time.
- The ear is re-examined to ensure it is clear.

Microsuction is often recommended for people who:
- Have impacted earwax.
- Have a perforated eardrum or a history of one.
- Have ear tubes (grommets).
- Have had previous ear surgery.
- Have had previous problematic ears.
- Have repeated ear infections.

ALLERGY TESTING - Skin Prick & Patch Test!

Skin Prick Test (SPT):
A skin prick test is used to identify immediate allergic reactions (usually within 15–20 minutes) to substances such as pollen, dust mites or certain foods.

How it works:
Small drops of different allergens are placed on the skin, usually on the forearm or back.
A tiny sterile lancet gently pricks the skin through each drop so the allergen enters the outer layer of the skin.
After about 15–20 minutes, the skin is checked for a raised, itchy bump (called a wheal). A positive reaction suggests the person may be allergic to that substance.

Patch Test:
A patch test is used to identify delayed allergic reactions (allergic contact dermatitis), such as allergies to metals, fragrances, cosmetics, or chemicals.

How it works:
Small amounts of potential allergens are placed in patches that are stuck to the skin, usually on the back.
The patches stay in place for 48 hours and must be kept dry.The patches are removed, and the skin is examined after 48 hours to look for redness, swelling, or a rash.
A positive reaction indicates an allergy to a substance that comes into contact with the skin.

The Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) is a protein produced by the epithelial cells of the prostate gland. Its function is to fluidify the ej*****te and to increase s***m mobility.

PSA also plays a role in dissolving cervical mucus, allowing s***m to enter the uterus. Small quantities of PSA are normally found in the blood of men with a healthy prostate.

PSA levels may increase with prostate pathologies (prostatitis, benign prostatic hyperplasia etc.), naturally with age or after prostate surgery or specific diagnosis tests (such as re**al examination, prostate biopsy etc.)

WHO ARE THE INTENDED USERS?
•men who do not have symptoms, aged over 45, who wish to check their prostate.
•men with urinary tract symptoms.

PRP HAIR RESTORATION

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) hair restoration is a non-surgical treatment that uses a concentrated portion of your own blood to stimulate hair follicles. It’s primarily used to slow hair loss, strengthen existing hair, and encourage thicker growth in people with certain types of hair thinning.

The Treatment Process:

Step 1: Blood draw
We take about 15–60 mL of blood from your arm, similar to a routine blood test.

Step 2: Centrifugation
The blood is placed into a centrifuge that spins at high speed.
This separates it into layers:
•Red blood cells
•Platelet-poor plasma
•Platelet-rich plasma

The platelet-rich plasma (PRP) contains a high concentration of platelets that release growth factors. These growth factors help stimulate weakened hair follicles, improve blood supply to the scalp, reduce inflammation, and encourage thicker, healthier hair growth. It doesn’t create new hair follicles, but it can help existing ones grow stronger and stay in the growth phase longer.

Step 3: Injection
Tiny injections are placed throughout thinning areas.
•Every 1 cm apart
•Around 0.05–0.2 mL per injection
•Entire session lasts 15–30 minutes
The total treatment usually takes about an hour including preparation.

The most successful outcomes usually come from early intervention and consistent maintenance treatments.

MESH THREADS:
Mesh threads are designed to create a supportive network beneath the skin, helping to improve skin firmness, texture, and overall quality. By forming a mesh-like structure, they encourage collagen production throughout the treated area, which can enhance skin elasticity and provide subtle tightening. Mesh threads are often used to address crepey skin and improve the appearance of larger treatment areas such as the cheeks, jawline, neck, or body.

MULTI THREADS:
Multi threads involve the placement of several fine threads within a treatment area to stimulate collagen and improve skin quality. Their function is skin rejuvenation rather than lifting. The increased number of threads can help improve skin texture, firmness, and hydration while reducing the appearance of fine lines. Multi-thread treatments are commonly chosen for patients seeking a refreshed, smoother, and more youthful appearance with minimal downtime.

SCREW THREADS:
Screw threads consist of one or more threads twisted around a needle, creating additional volume and support beneath the skin. Their function is to stimulate collagen production while also helping to restore fullness in areas where volume loss has occurred. Screw threads are often used in areas such as the cheeks, nasolabial folds, and other facial regions where additional structural support and subtle volumisation are desired.

COG THREADS:
COG (Cogged) threads feature tiny barbs or cogs along their length that anchor into the tissue. Their function is to lift and reposition sagging skin while also stimulating collagen production. COG threads can provide a more noticeable lifting effect than smooth threads and are commonly used to enhance the jawline, cheeks, brows, and neck. The lifting effect is often complemented by ongoing improvements in skin quality as new collagen develops around the threads.

We have 3 different types of COG threads, 3D, 4D and 6D!! The main difference between 3D, 4D, and 6D COG threads is the number and arrangement of the barbs, with higher-dimensional threads generally offering stronger grip, lift, and tissue support.
