May 2022 sees the return of the Dallaglio Cycle Slam with the riders cycling from Almuñécar to Lisbon over 2 weeks raising money for the Dallaglio Rugby Works Foundation.

The medical team comprising of Dr Henk Mulder, advanced paramedic practitioner Mark Braddock, Pennington Physiotherapy's own Mike Pennington, and fellow Physiotherapists Jack Dixon and Suzy Rodgers, are on hand to ensure all riders are prepared and make ample recovery for what is a tough, but very rewarding experience.

Keeping active is as important as ever during these testing times.

Though hopefully most relevant for 2020 when we look back, this paper likely still of relevance to most countries in 2021 (but hopefully not beyond!)

🎙 CLINIC UPDATE 🎙

I am delighted to announce that from Saturday 11th July, I will be restarting face-to-face appointments, in addition to continuing remote consultations.

These will be available for any with urgent or acute conditions, or for patients where video consultations are unlikely to provide enough benefit.

An initial telephone screening will be undertaken for all patients. This will help determine whether face-to-face assessment and treatment are recommended. This of course will be free of charge.

On arrival, you will notice alterations to any previous experiences with me which include:-

➡️ Social distancing in the clinic
➡️ Temperature check on arrival
➡️ Additional consent forms relating specifically to COVID
➡️ Availability of face masks for patients (for a small charge) and hand hygiene units
➡️ Clinician in appropriate levels of PPE
➡️ Staggered appointment times to allow for cleaning of clinic and equipment

These changes (and more) have been made to fall in-line with Government and professional body recommendations.

Please get in touch if you require assistance on:

Many thanks and stay safe.

Coronavirus Update

It is with great sadness that the clinic will be closed for the foreseeable future. I will continue to offer telephone and video consultations to anybody who needs help and support during this unsettling time.

See you on the other side. Stay safe.
