Residents enjoyed a lovely afternoon in the garden with children from St Joseph’s School 🐝🌼

Together, they built bee houses, matched flower names to blooms in the garden and spent time exploring the plants and wildlife around them. There was plenty of interest in the bees, along with a few other garden creatures discovered along the way.

Ahead of International Nurses Day, our Home Manager, Stuart, and Customer Support Advisor, Juliet, visited the elderly care wards at Poole Hospital and Forest Holme Hospice Charity with cards, treats and homemade cookies prepared by Bourne View Chef, Annabell.

The visit was a small gesture from the team at Bourne View and Colten Care to thank nurses and healthcare teams for the compassion, dedication, and reassurance they bring to patients and families every day.

Join our Easter Celebration next week at Bourne View 🐣

🗓️ Tuesday 7th April
🕑 2pm-4pm

We'll have crafts, planting, an exciting Easter egg hunt, delicious treats, and fun competitions for all ages. Activities are £1 each, with all proceeds going to our Charity of the Year, Poole Men's Shed.

We’re also delighted that Colten Care has been named among the UK’s Top 20 care home groups for the eleventh consecutive year. A wonderful acknowledgement of the teamwork, consistency and care shared across all our homes.

Balloon badminton brought plenty of energy to a recent afternoon 🏸🎈

Residents took part in gentle rallies that quickly turned into lively games. There was lots of laughter, encouragement and friendly competition throughout!

Residents at Bourne View marked Denim for Dementia Day with a creative afternoon together 💙

Working as a team, they designed and made a beautiful denim horse wall art piece using fabric, lace and decorative touches.
