At Fairlawn Care Home in Ferndown, we’re looking for a Night Care Team Leader to lead and support our night care team while ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate and person-centred care.

✨ Night Care Team Leader
📍 Fairlawn Care Home, St Mary's Road, Ferndown, BH22 9HB
💷 Up to £33,370 per annum + £750 welcome bonus
🕐 36.75 hours over 3 nights
🌙 19:45 – 08:00, including alternate weekends

As Night Care Team Leader, you’ll help plan and manage the delivery of quality care, support and supervise the night team, administer medication, and work closely with healthcare professionals and residents’ families.

You’ll need an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) and be fully competent in medication administration.

🕐 Full-time or part-time hours

We’re looking for someone with previous care experience, including care planning and medication administration, and an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care. You’ll also be supported to work towards an NVQ Level 3.

Since joining the team in January, Jake has quickly become an important part of life at Marjorie House. He always takes the time to stop and chat with residents, building genuine relationships and helping everyone feel valued.

Jake's friendly, approachable nature has had a positive impact across the home, and he's always willing to go the extra mile. In fact, he's even asked to complete moving and handling training so he can provide additional support to both residents and colleagues whenever it's needed.

Meet Teresa, Care Team Leader at Maiden Castle House.

Teresa joined Care South seven years ago as a Care Assistant and has since progressed to Senior Care Assistant before becoming a Care Team Leader.

Before starting her career in care, Teresa worked in personal insurance, but felt she hadn't found her true calling. After welcoming her first child, she decided to move into a career supporting older people – and never looked back.
