Our Proms in the Park Manor event on Saturday was a great success. Thank you to everyone who came along and joined us for an afternoon of beautiful music, fabulous refreshments and exquisite company. A special thank you to the Mayor of Poole for accepting our invitation and talking to our guests all day, to the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra String Quartet for a wonderful performance and to Angus for treating us to a folk session spectacular. Everyone had such positive things to say and they really enjoyed every aspect of the day.

Yesterday the boys had their first vet appointment and got their vaccines 💉🥼They were very well behaved and had their first Dreamies 😺🫶 Thank you to all the staff at Medivet Parkstone for all their help and being so good with our Frank and Bruno - we will see you soon for our next visit ❤😻🐈🐱

Yesterday we had a very lazy gardening club. We sat in the garden, drank tea and had an ice lolly in the shade. We discussed all the plants and flowers in the garden and took in all the beauty. We have decided this is what all gardening clubs should be like! Everyone enjoyed sitting in the garden, chatting and listening out for different birds 🪴🪷🌼🌹🌺🌷💐

Nick joined us yesterday to perform for the residents. Nick brought his usual high kicks and high energy to entertain everyone. Nick interacts with every person in the audience and brings us all joy with his wonderful singing and sometimes funny jokes. We can't wait for next time, thanks again Nick! ❤️🎤👨🏻‍🎤🎶

Earlier this week, Sylvia and Becca went out delivering flyers to the local community for our upcoming Proms in the Park Manor event. We hope to see lots of you there for a lovely afternoon of music, refreshments, culture and conversation. Preparations are underway and we are very excited!

Last week Bee paid us a visit and sang for the residents. It was another hot day so we sat in the dining room for a nice breeze and enjoyed the stunning vocals. The residents enjoyed singing along and interacting with Bee! Thank you ❤️

BINGO! 🎱💸Earlier in the week, the ladies were eyes down, bingo ready when they were joined by an extra player! Bruno didn't do so well at the bingo but his consolation prize was lots of strokes, cuddles and love ❤️🐱🐈😻

🎉 We're delighted to share that Park Manor Care Home has been rated 'Good' across all five areas in its very first Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection.

The inspectors recognised our caring culture, dedicated team and commitment to helping every resident enjoy life to the full. This fantastic achievement reflects the hard work, compassion and professionalism shown by our colleagues every day.

We would like to introduce 2 new additions to our park manor family 🐱🐈🐾😻 Our beautiful boys need names and we would love it if you could help us! The white one has beautiful blue eyes and the ginger one is very boisterous already, just for context.
