On Friday we said goodbye to our Rachy P!
Rachel has been with us since she was just 16 so to say we will all miss her is an understatement. If you have ever had the pleasure of meeting Rachel on a Saturday you will know just how great she is. Rach leaves us to start her uni placement as a mechanical engineer and we have no doubt she will do amazing!

Poppy picked up her first pair of spectacles and is ready for P2 in September!
She went for a Rockstar frame with Hoya Lens UK Ltd. Lenses.
We think she looks so cool!
I shouldn’t have favourites but when it’s your niece I think it’s allowed 💙

If you need a back to school eye exam we still have availability in August. New patients are very welcome - just book online or call the practice and we will help you organise this.

This day last year...

It's hard to believe that this time last year, Mackey Opticians William Street didn't exist!

What a year it has been. We couldn't be happier with our beautiful new practice, our incredibly loyal patients who have supported us every step of the way, and all the new faces we've had the pleasure of welcoming since opening our doors.

After spending so many years in Portadown High Street Mall, I'd be lying if I said making the move wasn't a little daunting. Change is never easy, but sometimes you just have to trust the journey.

The saying really is true – *everything happens for a reason.*

Thank you to every single person who has supported us over the past year. Whether you've been with us for years or have only recently discovered us, we're so grateful to be part of this wonderful community. Here's to many more years ahead! 🥂✨
