At Silver Cloud Care NI, we see every day how deeply a health journey impacts individuals and their families. This month, a cause very close to our hearts has brought our mission even closer to home. We are incredibly proud to stand behind an inspirational lady and a dear, close friend of our Director of Care, Helen Mullen, as she takes on a phenomenal challenge. 🌸

​In March 2025, Helen was diagnosed with breast cancer. Following a grueling path of surgery and chemotherapy, she is bravely giving back by walking, running, swimming, or cycling 5K every single day throughout June.
​Helen is raising vital funds for Pretty n Pink, Breast Cancer Charity Northern Ireland’s only registered breast cancer charity. Founded right here in 2006, every single penny they raise stays inside Northern Ireland to provide direct financial aid, counseling, and specialized therapies to patients and their families when they need it most.

​The reality of this illness touches so many of our communities:

​Over 1,400 people are newly diagnosed with breast cancer in Northern Ireland every single year.

​It remains the most common type of cancer diagnosed among women across the province.

​The emotional and financial strain on a family can be immense, which is exactly where Pretty 'n' Pink steps in to help.

​Helen has experienced their life-changing support firsthand. Because she means so much to us personally, we want to do everything we can to help her ensure the next local family doesn’t have to face this journey alone.
