A few of The Hollies residents requested to have a trip to Aberdare Park, as a few of them used to visit when they were younger so wished to reminise and see the flower display and of course have some fish and chips.

Thank you to Zoe our Activities Coordinator for listening to the residents and making their wishes to become a reality!

Congratulations to our Ty Nant Care home for raising over £3000 on their Rhigos to Ty Nant walk a few weeks ago.

I think it's safe to say it was an absolute blast. The Ty Nant team, friends and families teamed up to compete this 10 mile walk and they had the warmest welcome from the residents back at the home. 💜

The walkers even had time to complete the world-wide famous 'The Lion' pub Challenge in Treorchy to win a shot. Some really interesting answers Hayley and Shawn!

They laughed, sang and even met Jimmy White on their travels who was happy to pose for a picture.

Join Mill View care home in Pentre for their annual fundraising fete. The team and residents would love you to join them on Thursday 6th August from 2pm-4pm for an afternoon of music, farm animals, cake sale, stalls, raffles and games.

We have a job vacancy available for a Domestic Assistant at our Hollies Care Home in Pontypridd. This role offers:
- A 12 month temporary contract
- 16.5hrs per week
- A typical shift pattern of 3 days per week would be 8am - 2pm

Maintain high cleanliness and infection control standards throughout the home, support a welcoming environment, assist with reporting maintenance issues, engage respectfully with residents, and carry out deep cleaning to uphold quality care standards.
