Isometric exercises = simple, but seriously effective 💪🏼
Wall sits & lunge holds are static movements, meaning you’re building strength while holding a position rather than moving through a range.
They can be a great starting point when:
🦵🏼 You’re building knee strength back up
🏃🏼 You’re in the early stages of returning to sport
💪🏼 You’re rebuilding confidence after an injury
🔥 You want to strengthen without lots of movement
Think of them as a first phase of strengthening — helping your knees get used to loading again before progressing onto more dynamic movements.
Start where you’re comfortable, build your hold time gradually, and focus on good technique 👌🏼
Static doesn’t mean easy! 😉
