Crystal & Nature Connection — Bougainvillea & Carnelian 🧡🩷

I love discovering little connections between the beauty of nature and my love of crystals.

I took this photo of this beautiful Bougainvillea and was immediately drawn to its incredible colour and vibrancy.
It made me think of Carnelian from my crystal collection. Carnelian is often associated with energy, confidence, creativity and vitality.

For me, both the Bougainvillea and Carnelian have that wonderful feeling of warmth, colour and embracing life. 🧡🩷
Just a little reminder that nature really can be part of our own wellbeing toolbox.

Over the past couple of years, I’ve been sharing some of the pictures I’ve taken with my phone whilst out walking.

During one of my walks, I took this picture of a wild Orchid, and I wanted to match it with one of my favourite crystals — Amethyst. 💜

Amethyst is often associated with calm, intuition and inner peace. Together with the Orchid — delicate and graceful, yet surprisingly strong — they make me think about beauty, strength and allowing ourselves to bloom in our own time.

It’s good to recognise that:

🌸 We don’t all bloom at the same time.
🌸 We don’t all need the same conditions to grow.
🌸 And we don’t need to compare our journey with anyone else’s.

Perhaps the Orchid has a little message for us all:

✨ It’s okay to grow at your own pace.
✨ It’s okay to be beautifully, uniquely YOU.
✨ And it’s never too late to bloom. 🌸
