Happy Pride Day! 🌈
Today we celebrated with our residents enjoying music, singing along with The Annie Jo Vocal Show in the garden, and sharing lots of dancing, fun and laughter.
We also marked a wonderful cultural day, where staff brought in delicious food from their home countries for everyone to share and enjoy. Our activities coordinator also made a wonderful, colourful cake! isn’t it just amazing? 🎂✨

Our first session at Cosham Court this morning! 🥰 “Olive had a lovely time visiting and playing with Violet. She even did some steps with the walker for the first time.” ❤️

Today our residents had a truly wonderful time enjoying a special visit from babies from Portsmouth, organised by Generations of Joy, an inspiring initiative that brings babies into care homes. There were smiles and so many heartwarming moments shared. 💛
A big thank you to the lovely mums and dad for taking the time and making the effort to bring the little ones in and help create such a special day for our residents.

Our residents enjoy activities chosen around their own likes and interests, making each moment meaningful. We also had a lovely visit from Oreo, our gentle therapy dog, who brought lots of cuddles and smiles 🐶💛

Cosham Court Nursing Home welcomes visit from French students

We were delighted to welcome a group of 20 students from Marie Le Franc Vocational High School who travelled all the way from Lorient, Brittany, France to spend time with our residents. 🇫🇷🤝
The students shared a beautiful morning of connection, conversation, and fun activities, including:
🧡 Slime making
🎲 Memory games
🎨 Collage and creative crafts
💬 Chatting, sharing stories, and building friendships
It was a beautiful opportunity for our residents and the students to connect, learn from each other, and create meaningful memories
A huge thank you to the students and teachers for bringing so much energy, kindness, and creativity to our home.
And a special thank you to all our team for being so helpful, supportive, and making this lovely visit memorable for the students . 🌟

Celebrating King Charles III’s birthday in style! A few days ago, residents crafted their own crowns, and today they wore them proudly again during a delightful afternoon tea. With music playing and shared memories together ❤️
