🚨💛 Emergency Services Day | 9 September 💛🚨

Today, we’re taking a moment to say a huge thank you to all the amazing people who work in our emergency services. 🫶

From ambulance crews and NHS staff to police officers, firefighters, coastguard, lifeboat and search & rescue teams — thank you for everything you do to keep us safe and support people when they need it most. ❤️

999 Day is a chance to recognise the people behind our emergency services and remember those who have sadly lost their lives while serving.

At 9:00am, a two-minute silence will be held to remember and honour them. 🕊️

So today, let’s show our appreciation for the incredible people who are there for us in some of our most difficult moments.

🐾Happy National Dog Day! 🐾

Celebrated every year on 26th August, National Dog Day was founded in 2004 by animal advocate Colleen Paige to honour dogs of all breeds, raise awareness of shelter adoption, and recognise the incredible contribution of working and service dogs. 🐶❤️

At Aster Care, we know that companionship comes in many forms. A beloved dog can bring comfort, joy, companionship and plenty of smiles to the people we support. 🐕💕

Today, we're celebrating all the wonderful dogs who make such a difference in our lives — whether they're a loyal companion, a helping paw or a much-loved family member.
