Toucan-Diversity Toucan Diversity CIC Mission is Social Inclusion for disabled people, by Disabled People. Our training can be provided both in person or virtually.

Our Social Mission
Purpose: Social inclusion for disabled people, by disabled people

We champion social inclusion for disabled people, by disabled people. As a disabled-led social-profit organisation, we deliver CPD-accredited training to empower, challenge stereotypes, and create inclusion pathways. Through education, advocacy, and partnerships, we drive lasting social change. Our Vision
We beli

eve passionately that every individual has the right to live a full, educated, and inclusive life. Our accredited trainers will help your staff gain the confidence and awareness to work with and assist your disabled staff or clients effectively. Employees at all levels of your organisation almost certainly need to be better informed about disability, including the practical issues that might arise. Disability Equality Training will extend their understanding and help them capitalise on the value that disabled customers and employees bring. In addition, we have an online CPD accredited Disability Awareness Course for you to take in your own time. Please check out our training offerings: www.toucan-diversity.org.uk

We are a registered user-led, award-winning CIC and are based in Portsmouth. We are a proud Disability Confident Leader and would love to assist you with your validation. Please get in touch to find out more. To sign up to our newsletter and find out more about our work visit our Linktree:

If you know of anyone who is interested, please forward the details, or get in contact directly with Jade on [email protected]

Ethics approval for this study was granted on July 1st 2026. Ethics ID - ETH2526-4845

Many thanks in advance.

Toucan's Sunday Read

Behind every training session, every fundraising event, and every funding bid, there is an incredible team of dedicated volunteers making it all happen. Over the past couple of weeks, our brilliant team have been busy writing bids, organising events, and developing bespoke reasonable adjustments for our upcoming training sessions. We are so proud of every single one of them.

And now - we want YOU!

Would you like to get involved with an organisation where your voice genuinely matters? Where disabled and neurodivergent people are not just welcomed, they lead?

We would especially love to hear from:
Bloggers - share your lived experience with our community
Content creators - help us tell our story
Volunteers - whatever your skills, we have a place for you

At Toucan Diversity, lived experience is not just valued, it is at the heart of everything we do. Every element of our organisation involves disabled and neurodivergent people, and that is something we are incredibly proud of.

Head to our website to find out how you can get involved — we would absolutely love to hear from you!

Everyone is smiling and one person is waving at the camera."
