# # # Know Your Numbers! Week 💙

**7–13 September 2026**

Do you know your age? But do you know your blood pressure numbers?

Know Your Numbers! Week is a reminder that high blood pressure often has **no symptoms**, so the only way to know if yours is raised is to get it checked.

Around **1 in 3 people in the UK have high blood pressure**, and many don’t know it.

Take a few minutes this week to check your blood pressure. You can do this at home or through many pharmacies and GP surgeries.

Knowing your numbers can help you take action to protect your health and reduce your risk of serious conditions such as heart attacks and strokes.

💙 **Know your age. Know your numbers. Know your health.**

World Breastfeeding Week: August 1–7

World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated each year from **August 1–7** to raise awareness of the importance of breastfeeding and the need for supportive environments for breastfeeding families.

Breastfeeding provides essential nutrition for infants, supports healthy growth and development, and offers lifelong health benefits for both babies and mothers. This global campaign encourages governments, healthcare providers, workplaces, communities, and families to work together to ensure every parent has access to the support they need to achieve their breastfeeding goals.

Join us in recognizing World Breastfeeding Week by promoting education, supporting breastfeeding families, and helping create environments where every baby has the healthiest possible start in life.
