Not a guarantee but a good place to start. Why a low tolerance to Co2 creates a feedback loop with feelings of anxiety & panic, racing mind, sleep problems etc - Co2 is the driver to breathe, or in a lot of people over breathe. Breathing rate at rest is one of the main things that will influence the state of the autonomic nervous system. When someone over breathes they have short, shallow, erratic breathing & hold the breath without realising, when the breath is held (this also creates physical dysfunction) and there is a low tolerance to Co2, it doesn’t take very long for the body - the internal environment, to go into a panic and give you the urge to get rid of the build up as it is threatening & uncomfortable, it wants to go back to comfort which in the case of low Co2 tolerance is dysfunction mentally & physically due to the breath & relationship between oxygen & Co2. Co2 being the driver to breathe combined with a low tolerance to it causes the person to constantly want to off load the build up of Co2 through a gasp or sigh and go back to short, shallow breathing & not expose themselves to the higher levels of Co2 in the lungs & blood - so what the brain tells you to do is the exact opposite of what you need to do. Co2 is known as a metabolic stress messenger, so with physical, mental, emotional strain the tolerance will vary day to day. That’s why building Co2 tolerance is also building stress tolerance. It will affect the physiology of the entire body & can be applied to so many situations, one of them is calming the brain & body through short periods of air hunger & coherence with breathing.
Something briefly on this example - our first session was a score 5-6s, now at 40s +. Vomiting from anxiety stopped after first treatment where we tripled the bolt score. Sleep, energy, appetite all doing very well now. They also bought the headset to use daily which is phenomenal for sleep & brainwave entrainment. Feelings of anxiety etc aren’t the problem they are just feelings aren’t necessarily bad or good maybe a signal of the internal or external environment. Officially ran out of allocated words thank you goodbye
