A great training session today with our wonderful team members and lovely residents! 😊 Team members received hands-on practice in preparing thickened drinks safely and correctly in line with IDDSI (International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiatives) standards. A Visit Full of Memories 🐦💚

We’re still smiling after another wonderful visit from Performing Pets! 🥰

After recently welcoming lambs, donkeys and all sorts of wonderful animals to Cooperscroft, this time it was the turn of some very special budgies – and they certainly didn’t disappoint!

Budgies were a real crowd-pleaser, with many of our residents having fond memories of keeping them as pets themselves. As the beautiful birds fluttered, chirped and brought plenty of colour to the room, it was lovely to hear residents sharing stories and memories from years gone by.

Sometimes, it’s amazing what a familiar face.. or in this case, a familiar feathered friend can bring back. 🐦✨

The smiles said it all! 💚

🌟 What an amazing open day at Christine's Dementia Café today! 🌟
We had the pleasure of being a part of Christine's Dementia Café’s open day. We were entertained by the talented Immie Davies, a finalist from Britain’s Got Talent! 🎤✨ Dawn, received a beautiful birthday cake as a token of gratitude for Cooperscroft's continued support of the café.

Cooperscroft also provided some delicious buffet food that everyone enjoyed. And the highlight for many, especially the kids, was an adorable surprise— a miniature horse from ! 🐴❤️

Christine's Dementia Café, right here in Digswell, remains a vital safe space for our community living with dementia and their dedicated carers. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the day so special! 💙

🌟 Had a fantastic time at Jan’s Care for a Cuppa in Brookmans Park, all in support of Isobel Hospice! The turnout was amazing, with everyone contributing a £5 donation. Jan the host said “Huge thanks to Cooperscroft for donating delicious cupcakes and an incredible £100 to this worthy cause.”

We’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be hosting the next Care for a Cuppa in October, and we have something very special planned... stay tuned for more details! ☕💖

🌟 What a fantastic afternoon at Cooperscroft! We hosted a community children's cinema event, and it was wonderful to see 10 kids and their parents come together to enjoy Toy Story 5. 🎥🍿 The film shared a powerful message about how screen time is replacing playtime, sparking great conversations among our little movie-goers.

🌟 Exciting Day at Potters Bar Town FC! 🌟
Yesterday, Arthur and Dawn had the incredible opportunity to take a picture with the Premier League Trophy! 🏆 This special visit was a highlight of the day as the trophy was hosted at the club for just one day.

Cooperscroft and Cuffley Manor are proud Community Sponsors. Cooperscroft were thrilled to be part of the action! We cheered on our team during an intense match against Banbury FC, and the final score of 2-1 in favour of Potters Bar FC made it even sweeter! 🎉

Arthur, a lifelong Westham fan, loved every moment of this unforgettable experience. We’re excited to continue supporting the club alongside Cllr Chris Myers through various community projects.

Can’t wait for the next home game! Let’s go, Potters Bar! 💚⚽️
