Primrose Bank Residential Care Home Primrose Bank provides Residential, Respite and Senior Day care to people over 65 years of age We are registered and regulated by the CQC.

We are a family run care home in Poulton Le Fylde, recently extended to 45 bedrooms. We provide short and long term care, personal care, rehabilitation and life fulfillment for the over 65s.

There was plenty of concentration, some fantastic shots, and a little friendly rivalry!

Good morning everyone, we hope you had a great weekend!
Here’s what’s happening at PRB this week….

This morning we’re playing Higher or Lower with the giant cards. This afternoon a test of hand/eye coordination with Corn Hole
In the morning we start with Dominoes, and after lunch “The King Of Swing” Stevie Kay is back for an afternoon of Live Music.
On Wednesday we’ll be adding a splash of colour with Flower Arranging as our morning activity, then a quiz a little later.
Thursday starts with Bingo, then Baking after lunch.
Karl is back on Friday for Art Class with Tabletop Curling making rounding off our week.

Yesterday we enjoyed an exercise class delivered by Jamie from Gfitness. Residents used resistance bands and balls and to help them with a range of movements.
Jamie’s sessions are fun and engaging and his class always has a great turnout.

Good afternoon everyone. It’s been a busy start to the week after a successful Dinner Club on Friday.
Here’s what we’ve been up to, and what’s going on for the rest of the week…

Yesterday we started our day with Higher or Lower. After lunch we we had best intentions of doing some gardening 🪏🪴, but instead residents opted to test out our new garden furniture which was given a unanimous thumbs up 👍
This morning we welcomed back Martin from St. Chad’s ⛪️ for our monthly communion and we currently have Lucy Franklin singing her heart out for the residents 🎙️
Tomorrow it’s down to business for a morning of seated exercise class with Jamie from Gfitness 🏋️, and we’ll have a General Knowledge Quiz a little later.
Bingo makes up our Thursday morning, and our kids ‘littles’ 👧👦 from Kids Planet Lancashire Coast make a return for the afternoon.
Karl is back with us on Friday for a morning of Art 🎨 and after some 🐟 & 🍟 we’ll be golfing and bowling from the comfort of our seats with the Nintendo Wii 🕹️

It was wonderful to be able to welcome some of our new residents with their families and friends last night, and for them to experience Dinner Club for the first time.
Once again, the chefs put out some truly stunning, and carefully presented plates of food that have taken hours of preparation throughout the week to get to this stage. We are incredibly proud of the talent they bring to the kitchen at PRB every day.
Thank you to all the guests that joined our residents in making the evening so special.
We hope you all got home safe and that there aren’t too many heavy heads this morning!

Good morning all, and welcome back to another week here at PRB.
Let’s have a look at what’s going on this week…

This afternoon we’re getting creative with a an opportunity to make some Jewellery.
Tomorrow we kick our day off with Dominoes, and this will be followed by Live Music from Marianne Corelli 🎙️
Wednesday we have board games ♟️ and a quiz in the afternoon. Bev our hairdresser will also be in all day ✂️
Thursday starts with Bingo and we’ll be having a go at table tennis 🏓 after lunch.
We round up the week with Art Class on Friday morning, and a concert after fish and chips as we prepare for Dinner Club later on Friday evening. Jenna will also be here Friday morning to do nails and make our ladies feel extra special 💅

On Thursday we welcomed some new faces from Kids Planet Poulton as well as some of the children that have been before.
The weather couldn’t make its mind up so we thought we’d be safe and stayed indoors for table games.
We all had great fun, and just as every time they come to PRB, our residents didn’t want them to leave. 💝
