Playday runs every week at both of our clinics, and it is free for anyone to come to.

It is a straightforward thing. We set out sensory trays, paint, colouring and games, put the kettle on, and open the door. Some families come every week. Some come once. Both are completely fine.

There is no referral needed and nothing to book. You do not have to be under our care, and you do not have to tell us you are coming.

Stone, every Tuesday from 1pm to 3pm, at 13 Station Road, Stone, Staffordshire, ST15 8JP. Any questions, ring 01785 847008.

Prescot, every Wednesday from 1pm to 3pm, at 40 to 42 Kemble Street, Prescot, Liverpool, L34 5SQ. Any questions, ring 0151 487 0055.

All ages are welcome, babies through to older children, and the grown ups too. Refreshments are on us. First come, first served.

Omega Life Clinical is one year old.

Twelve months of sitting with families, listening properly, and helping children, adults and the people around them get the right support at the right time.

A few things we are proud of from year one.

Our team has grown to nine, bringing psychology, psychotherapy, speech and language therapy and occupational therapy together as one joined up offer, so a family rarely has to go elsewhere for the next piece of support.

We now have two clinics, in Stone town centre and in Prescot, alongside sessions in schools, workplaces, community settings and online.

We began new partnerships, with Vantage Children's Services and with Aurora Hanley and Aurora Summerfields, who will receive our services regularly through the next academic year.

And Foundations for Life came through its first Ofsted inspection having met every standard, with a strong standard for attendance and behaviour. Inspectors noted that clinical assessments help staff understand pupils' sensory, communication and learning barriers.

To every family who has come to us this year, thank you for trusting us. It has been a privilege.

🟣 We're excited to launch our free Playday sessions today, running weekly across Staffordshire and Liverpool right through summer!

Our new EBSA (Emotionally Based School Avoidance) support programme, delivered by Suzy Seymour, gives children and young people a safe space to explore how they're feeling about school, without pressure or judgement.

It's about understanding what your child needs to thrive, building confidence, resilience and coping strategies along the way.

Referrals are open now, with limited weekly slots. Sessions run in-person at our Stone office or online.

Do you already work with people who have complex lives, or are you hoping to? Imagine following a real client's journey from start to finish, covering assessment, formulation, intervention, and the impact it makes, while picking up practical skills you can use straight away.

That's exactly what this day is about. Together we'll explore what it really means to work psychologically with complex cases, and think carefully about how formulation works when you put it into action. Your host is Dr Carly Pointon, our Clinical Director. Carly's journey began with her Psychology degree back in 2000, and over 25 years she's worked everywhere from forensic settings and HMPS to schools, residential homes, the courts, and alongside thousands of children, young people, adults and families. Carly has now been a registered Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC for over 12 years.

She specialises in neurodivergent populations, children's residential homes, trauma-informed practice and SEN schools, has acted as an expert witness in family court, and even supervises practice as far afield as Christchurch, New Zealand!

Parenting a child with additional needs can feel like a lot to carry on your own. On Friday 19 June, we would love you to join us for a day made just for parents and caregivers.

Thinking About Your Family is a relaxed, welcoming day with our Clinical Director, Dr Carly Pointon a Clinical Psychologist, HCPC registered for 12 years, with more than 25 years of experience. supporting neurodivergent children and families. Whether your child has SEN, ASD or ADHD, or you are still going through assessment, you are welcome.

We will talk through emotional regulation, navigating EHCPs, speech and language, occupational therapy and the worries around school, and you will go home with practical tools and resources you can actually use. There will be free refreshments too, and plenty of time to meet other families who understand.
