A valuable resource!
🥳 I’m delighted to share some exciting news — I have just been officially registered as a micro provider with Denbighshire County Council 🎉
To celebrate this milestone, I wanted to explain a bit more about the Support Services side of The Rowan Tree, and what being a micro provider actually means.
As well as working as a Funeral Celebrant, I offer practical and emotional support to adults living in Denbighshire and Conwy who may need a little extra help to live well, stay connected, and feel supported in their daily lives.
Through The Rowan Tree, this can include things like:
🌿 companionship and wellbeing support
🌿 help with appointments or paperwork
🌿 practical support at home
🌿 signposting to local services
🌿 gentle emotional support during difficult times
🌿 support for carers or family members
These services are always person-centred — meaning they are shaped around you, your needs, and what matters to you, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
🤔 So what is a micro provider?
A micro provider is a small, local, independent business approved by Denbighshire County Council to deliver care and support services within the community. This means:
✔️ I have been vetted and registered
✔️ I meet the Council’s standards for safety and safeguarding
✔️ I can work directly with individuals who receive funded support
✔️ I can also work privately with people who simply want extra help or companionship
Being a micro provider allows me to offer flexible, personal, and local support, rather than operating like a large care agency. Many people find this feels more friendly, consistent, and easier to arrange — which sits perfectly with the values of The Rowan Tree.
If you, or someone you care for, lives in Denbighshire or Conwy and you think The Rowan Tree might be able to help, you are very welcome to get in touch via this page, my website, or email: [email protected]
I’ll be sharing more about specific services over the coming weeks — but if you have any questions in the meantime, please just ask. 🌿
