🌞 Another heatwave at Ribble View? You know what that means… BBQ time! 🔥🍔🥳

🎉 Our first Ribble View Festival of the year was a sizzling success, packed with great food, plenty of laughter and lots of sunshine.

👏 A massive shoutout to Malcolm, Donna and Andrew, our superstar catering team, who worked their magic behind the scenes and served up a feast fit for a festival. From the first bite to the last, it was absolutely delicious! 😋🌭🍔

🤗 It was fantastic to see everyone coming together, soaking up the sunshine, sharing stories, enjoying a laugh and making wonderful memories.

☀️ With smiles all around, a healthy dose of vitamin D and a brilliant community spirit, the day had everything we could have wished for.

💛 Here’s to more sunshine, more celebrations and many more unforgettable Ribble View moments this year! 🎊✨

🌟 What a fantastic time we've been having here at Ribble View! 🌟
The party was in full swing as we danced our way through the afternoon with the amazing Becky Demaine's Entertainments 💃✨, who brought bundles of energy, talent and plenty of feel-good vibes! 🥳
From the very first song, Becky had everyone singing along, clapping, dancing and enjoying their favourite tunes 🎶🎤. The room was filled with laughter, smiles and lots of happy faces as our service users came together for an afternoon of music and fun 🥰💃🕺
The atmosphere was absolutely electric 🎉 and it was wonderful to see everyone making such special memories together. ❤️
A huge thank you to Becky for putting on such a brilliant performance and making the day so enjoyable for everyone 👏♥️ We can't wait to do it all again! 🌟🎶🥳

With June coming to an end, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the wonderful Pride activities we’ve shared throughout the month 🌈

It’s been an incredible time celebrating inclusion, diversity, and community together. We wrapped it all up with our fantastic Pride party, featuring our very special guest, Vixon Von Rouge. Their performance was truly unforgettable and loved by everyone who attended! 🏳️‍🌈🥳💃

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped make this month so special 🙌 Here’s to continuing to celebrate and support one another all year round 🥰

✨ Our walking groups have once again proven to be a tremendous success! 🚶‍♂️🧑‍🦽 This week's outing was no exception, and it was truly heart-warming to see both our staff and service users enjoying the great outdoors and exploring our vibrant community together 🤗

The sight of everyone engaging with nature 🌳🌼 sharing conversations 🥰 and simply having a good time is a testament to the positive impact these walks have on our well-being 🥳 It is moments like these that remind us of the importance of community and the joy of connecting with one another in such a meaningful way ♥️

🌟 As the football season comes to a close, Tony was over the moon to have one last chance to head to an away game at Preston North End 🏟️. From the moment the plan was made, the excitement never left him, it was genuinely lovely to see how much he was looking forward to the day 🥰.

We chose to travel by the football coach, and that really added to the experience. Surrounded by fellow supporters, Tony completely soaked up the atmosphere 🤩 singing along, joining in the chants 🎶, and sharing those little moments of connection that make match days feel so special ⚽️.

🏆 Arriving at the stadium was another highlight. Tony was thrilled to be right in the front row, with an amazing view of the pitch and his favourite players 🙌. The energy in the stands and on the pitch was incredible, and his smile said everything 🤗.

All in all, it was a truly brilliant day out, full of joy, excitement, and memories that will last a long time ♥️ When we arrived home, we also enjoyed a tour of the football museum 🥳.

💫 We wanted to share just how much we enjoyed our recent visit to Barton Grange Garden Centre and The Flower Bowl 🌻 The day was a real treat from start to finish. We began with a lovely stroll around the garden centre, taking in all the vibrant displays and beautiful plants 🪴 🌷🪷 Afterwards, we made our way to The Flower Bowl, where we got stuck into various activities 🤩 a few friendly rounds of bowling added a bit of excitement, and our trip to the cinema was a great way to relax together 🤗 We rounded off the day in style with some fancy coffees ☕️ and delicious ice creams 🍦 which was the perfect finishing touch. All in all, it was a fantastic outing and a wonderful way to spend time together ♥️

✨ We have had a wonderful visit from Boots Chemist recently. They brought in some delightful memory boxes for our service users, and the experience truly brought everyone together in a wonderful way 🤗

🙌 The boxes were filled with perfumes and aftershave from years gone by, along with a variety of medicines and fascinating information ☺️ These items sparked many fond childhood memories for our service users, creating a warm and nostalgic atmosphere 🥰 It was lovely to watch everyone engage with the contents, reminiscing and sharing stories from their past ♥️

🌟 We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming two beautiful ponies 🐴 Princess and Winnie 🥰 from the Little Hoofs Therapy Crew. Their visit was truly special, bringing a wave of happiness and excitement to all our service users 🥳

The ladies accompanying them were incredibly accommodating and thoughtful 🤗 In fact, they went above and beyond by taking Princess and Winnie in the lifts to different units, ensuring that everyone had the opportunity to meet, cuddle, and enjoy the gentle company of these lovely ponies 🤩 It was heart-warming to see so many smiles and to witness the positive impact this visit had ♥️

🙌 Thank you again to Little hoof therapy crew for the joy you brought to Ribble View. We look forward to more moments like these in the future! 🫶
