Verrucas can be stubborn…and tiring when it’s your child who keeps picking them up. But treating them doesn’t always have to become a months-long battle.

This brilliant result is from one of our younger patients, aged just 8 years old, following 2 Swift treatments.

Swift uses targeted microwave energy to stimulate the body’s own immune response to the HPV virus responsible for verrucas, rather than simply trying to remove the affected skin at surface level.

Swift can be uncomfortable, but this child tolerated it well. For other children, we have other options that can be discussed in clinic.

As you can see from the before photos, there were several areas of verruca across the sole of the foot. Following treatment, the difference speaks for itself👏

Every patient and every verruca is different, so we can’t promise that two treatments will achieve the same outcome for everyone. But this is a great example of what can be achieved with the right treatment approach.

If your child has a verruca that isn’t shifting, is becoming painful or is starting to spread, it may be worth having it professionally assessed

It’s suitable for many of our EXISTING patients who have ongoing nail care, corns, callus, cracked heels, thickened nails, verrucae, ingrown toenails, and general foot health maintenance.

The podiatrist seeing you will provide treatment where required, review your foot health, and help keep your feet comfortable, healthy, and pain-free.

Bit of a weird one whenever we’re asked this to be honest 😂🫣

We can, hand on heart, assure people that we’re perfectly fine with touching & looking at feet!

After actively choosing to go into podiatry, training for years to be Podiatrists, and choosing a job in podiatry - none of us were particularly shocked that our day to day involves touching peoples feet 🙃🙃

We love helping people. We love seeing the difference good podiatry can make in someone’s daily life. We love showing people that daily low level pain doesn’t need to be normal. And sure, if you’ve got a particularly fun looking verruca - we love that too!

It might not be a career to everyone’s tastes! But we love being podiatrists! 🦶 💚
