Happy 8th Birthday to Leigh Aesthetics 🎉

My little slice of happiness has been going strong for 8 years! I am so proud to say I still treat lots of the clients who put their trust in me all those years ago.

I started in aesthetics as I was so tired of seeing people going to practitioners who would take their money and not care about the end result or the product they were injecting into people. Throughout the years I have stayed strong and not been tempted by making a fast buck at the detriment to my clients. My clients and their safety will always be at the forefront of what I do and the products I use.

First and foremost, my clients need not worry this is a general warning for the general public who have had anti wrinkle treatments in the form of botulinum toxin.

I have received some data from the UK Health Security Agency that relates to severe and potentially life threatening side effects post anti wrinkle treatment.

***THIS HAS BEEN FOUND TO BE FROM UNLICENCED KOREAN BOTULINUM TOXIN***

Some of the people effected have needed critical care admission (ICU/HDU) for respiratory (breathing) support. This has been caused by botulism secondary to having this unlicensed product injected.

I cannot say this loud enough for people to hear me, KNOW WHAT IS BEING INJECTED INTO YOUR BODY!!!! Ask your practitioner questions, lots of questions! Ask them to see the bottle of product they are using. If they don’t or won’t show you walk out the door!

I’ll say this AGAIN people charging £100 for 3 areas of “Botox” ARE NOT USING LEGITIMATE PRODUCTS!!!! I know you may have had it before and the results were fine but it is only a matter of time until something like this happened. UNLICENCED products are that for a reason. These people who have experienced these awful complications won’t be able to claim because their practitioner won’t be insured! Aesthetic insurance only covers licensed products.

I’ve had LOTS of requests for price lists so I thought I would post on here.

It’s important to note I’m not a 3 areas of anti wrinkle and 1ml of filler for £100 kind of practitioner.

Firstly, no licensed anti wrinkle injections can be bought that cheaply never mind along with dermal filler on top.

Secondly, I only use the best products, licensed in the UK, supplied by a reputable pharmacy for both anti wrinkle treatments and dermal fillers.
