I realised this morning that it all starts with being grateful for the small things.
If you are so distracted by your current situation, or something that happens, you’ll miss the little magic and miracles showing up for you.
Yesterday my mum asked me to pop into hers on my way past. When I got there she had two large tubs of natural Greek yogurt. My mum is tube fed and hasn’t eaten since 2018, so they were definitely not on her shopping order. Somehow they arrived in her grocery bags anyway. And she gifted them to me.
I had run out of kefir and natural yogurt the day before and thought, oh well, I’ve had a good few days of choosing a healthy breakfast for myself but it’ll have to wait until next week’s shopping budget.
Well. Not any more 😊
And I couldn’t be happier or more grateful, because I’ve been doing so well at choosing me, choosing to eat nourishing foods, knowing my self worth and now I’ve been gifted almost another weeks supply!
Here’s what hit me.
You cannot ask the universe to shower you with abundance (in all areas, not just wealth) if you are coming from a place of no self worth. The message you are giving out is that you are not worthy of receiving it.
And if you are so distracted that you can’t see the beauty, the magic, the miracles in the smallest of moments and be grateful, you are pushing it away. By constantly focusing on what isn’t enough or being ungrateful. By allowing something external to suck you into its drama and chaos so completely that you miss what you’ve just been given.
If you cannot hold and receive two tubs of yogurt, how on earth do you expect to hold millions? 😂
