💚 NEXT WEEK AT THE MANORS – ALL FOR MACMILLAN 💚

Next week, we’re incredibly proud to be supporting our friend Michelle Robinson as she raises money for Macmillan.

Michelle devastatingly lost her husband, her love and forever soulmate, to prostate cancer last year. Throughout such a difficult time, Michelle and her family were shown incredible kindness and support, and now Michelle wants to give something back to a charity that means so much to her.

We would absolutely love to help her do just that. 💚

We’ve got a few fun things planned throughout the week, but we’re going to finish the week in the way we love best… with a PARTY! 🎉

An absolutely amazing raffle packed with fabulous prizes! (Tickets will be available to buy from The Manors on the day).
Macmillan Coffee Afternoon
And to finish things off, a fantastic performance from Miranda Newton!

There’ll be plenty of fun, plenty of cake, plenty of prizes and, most importantly, the chance to raise as much as we possibly can for Macmillan Cancer Support. 💚

Michelle has put so much love and effort into making this special, and we’d love for our residents, families, friends and local community to come along, support her and help us make it a day to remember.

💃 NEW LINE DANCING GROUP! 🤠

We’re delighted to announce that a brand-new line dancing group is starting at The Manors this September!

Come along and join Yvonne for some fantastic fun, whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced dancer. There’s a place for everyone!

Starting Saturday 5th September

Beginners: 10.30am – 11.15am
Intermediate: 11.15am – 12.30pm

Come and get active, learn some new moves, meet new people and, most importantly, have the best fun!

Dust off those dancing shoes and come and give it a go! 👢

Sandra watched our group for a long time before taking that leap of faith. She wasn’t quite ready to join… but when she finally took that first step, she never looked back!

And just look at what she has achieved…

An incredible 6½ stone weight loss so far!

But it’s not just the number on the scales that has changed. Sandra now walks for miles, her health has improved, her confidence has grown and she has completely transformed her life. 🥰

It has been an absolute pleasure watching Sandra’s journey and cheering her on every single week. Her determination, commitment and positivity have been an inspiration to everyone in our group.

Sandra, we think you are an absolute star and you should be incredibly proud of yourself as I am so proud of you. This has been such an achievement.🌟
