25 huge bags all loaded and sent to help the Calverley Rotary Club with additional funds for community projects, a huge thank you to all of our neighbours and friends that donated. Also Stacey Myers and little man for helping me to load them, he was trying so hard to give you a good thumbs up👍community helping community 🤝🫶🫂🎩💪😊

Well what a busy bank holiday weekend, that's exactly how we like it helping our amazing community🫶

Friday: We as a family where invited to Hutton Manor Care Home for there local hero awards, all to raise funds for Alzheimer's society. It was great fun, lots smiles and amazing passion fruit cake.

We also won an award for the amazing work we do with the Litter Free Pudsey team. Thank you for the amazing afternoon and raising funds for such a great cause🤝🦸

Saturday: Was Leeds Fest, me at my age 😂 I was working with the Wombles of Pudsey helping keep the massive camp site, tidy at Bramham Park. The atmosphere was electric and all the crowds we had so much fun with🎧🎸🎶

Sunday: Another adventure with Litter Free Pudsey local weekly event on the Broadlea estate🚮🟣

Monday: We had a some lovely neighbours and friends of ours who where struggling with the garden so me and an sos Simon Seary rolled up our sleeves, to help with trimming bagging and a tip run. The garden now looks proper again🪏🪴🌿💪

In-between all this, I have also been collecting clothes donations for our local Calverley Rotary Club. We have had so many donations that we are so grateful for. Community helping community👚👕🥼👖🧣

We are honoured and proud to serve our amazing community and wider area to help make a difference 🫶

Time for a well earned brew and a biscuit ☕🍪

Last call guys we have already taken loads of bags to help this amazing local cause, we have more to come today as well. Thank you to you all for your amazing efforts. ​A local friend dropped by our home last week with a bag of pre-loved clothes, asking if they could help others in any way. It reminded us just how much good we can do together when we clear out what we no longer need. 🧥✨

​The Rotary Club of Calverley is turning your unwanted items into direct support for fantastic local causes, and we are collecting donations right up until Wednesday, 2 September.

​Every single penny raised goes straight into the Rotary Charity Account to support vital community projects—from Calverley in Bloom and Christmas Day lunches to local food banks, youth football kits, and global relief through Rotary ShelterBox.

​If you have items to pass on before 2 September, feel free to drop them off at our home or call us. We'll gladly collect them directly from your doorstep. 🚗🤝
