We are proud members of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) and have successfully met the Association’s rigorous inspection standards. Membership is not automatic—it requires businesses to demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism, compliance, care and ethical practice, with regular independent inspections to ensure those standards continue to be met.

These certificates are more than pieces of paper; they are a reflection of our commitment to providing the highest standard of care to every family we have the privilege of supporting.

Choosing a funeral director is one of the most important decisions you will make. We believe you should have complete confidence that your loved one will always be treated with kindness, dignity and the utmost respect.

We had a funeral here today at the beautiful Westerleigh Crematorium - how incredible that their very own bees are producing local honey 🍯💙

We’d like to show off something we’re rather proud of… Honey, collected from the hive in our grounds.

We have several beehives here at Westerleigh, where the bees work tirelessly amongst the flowers and trees to produce this beautiful honey 🐝🍯

At Hollie James Independent Funeral Directors, we’re proud to support initiatives that make a positive difference in our community.

We were delighted to sponsor the printing of these Key Pathways “Stay Safe” booklets, which are being distributed to local schools to help educate children on important topics including road safety, first aid, fire safety, online safety and bullying.

A big thank you to Key Pathways for the fantastic work they do. We’re proud to play a small part in helping this valuable resource reach local children.

Had a “whoopsie” today on my funeral - shut the tail of my frock coat in the door of the limousine and ripped it 🤦‍♀️

Are there any local seamstresses that would be able to repair this please?

Sunday doesn’t always mean a day off in this line of work ☁️

Being a Funeral Director isn’t a 9–5 role — it’s being there whenever families need you, day or night, weekday or weekend. While many are enjoying a slower Sunday, I’m honoured to be doing what I do best: caring for those entrusted to me with dignity, compassion, and respect.
