Friends of Somer Valley Medical Group AGM

The Friends of Somer Valley Medical Group are holding their Annual General Meeting, and all patients and local residents are warmly invited to attend.

The committee is currently seeking a new Chairperson and would welcome anyone interested in supporting their local GP surgery and community health services. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the charity's work and find out how you could get involved.

RSV Vaccination

We understand that some patients may have received multiple invitations from NHS England regarding the RSV vaccination programme.

Following these invitations, we have experienced a significant increase in enquiries about the RSV vaccine.

We appreciate patients' interest and would like to reassure everyone that there is no need to contact the practice to arrange an appointment at this time as we will be contacting all eligible patients directly as soon as vaccine supplies are available and clinics have been arranged.

The RSV vaccine is part of a routine vaccination programme and is offered throughout the year. Please do not be concerned about missing a clinic, as eligible patients will continue to be able to receive their vaccination once appointments become available at the practice.
