Kent and Medway NHS Talking Therapies is proud to host a collaborative event in support of World Mental Health Day 2026.

This event will bring together a range of community mental health organisations from across Kent and Medway to raise awareness of the support services available locally for both service users and professionals.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet local mental health providers, learn more about the treatment and support available, and access information, advice, and guidance from participating organisations. The event aims to promote wellbeing, encourage open conversations around mental health, and strengthen connections between services and the local community.

As the weather warms up, it is crucial to protect babies and young children under the age of 6 from direct sunlight, as their skin is much more delicate than an adult's. In the UK, parents and carers should follow key sun safety practices throughout the peak months of March to October:

Cover Up: Dress children in clothing that keeps their skin fully covered and shielded from the sun.

Seek Shade: Avoid direct sunlight and spend time in the shade during peak hours, specifically between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

Apply SPF: Use a minimum of SPF 30 sunscreen on all areas of skin left uncovered by clothing.
