Completed The Lap on Saturday — 47 miles and 2500 meters if elevation around the fells of Lake Windermere, in some tough conditions.

As a podiatrist, I always find endurance events a reminder of how important foot care, footwear, pacing and gradual training progression are over long distances.

Thankfully the feet held up well — now just dealing with the post-ultra quad soreness 👣
