Ramsbottom Dental Care provide advanced restorative and cosmetic dentistry, including teeth whitening, composite bonding, veneers, Invisalign and traditional fixed orthodontics (including cosmetic tooth coloured brackets) and dental implants. Even though we are a centre for cosmetic dental excellence, we do also provide routine dentistry such as routine dental check ups and hygienist appointments

and we excell at rehabilitation of patients with advanced dental needs, often due to severe dental phobias. We have recently moved to our state of the art new dental surgery based at 60 Square Street, Ramsbottom, BL09AZ (find us directly behind the Morrisons overflow carpark). Even dentists need looking after sometimes!

After breaking a lower molar, our very own Matthew found himself on the other side of the dental chair, with Johan taking care of him.

Within just two hours, Matthew had a ceramic crown fitted to protect his tooth for years to come and it’s safe to say he was impressed with the result!

There’s something reassuring about trusting the same team you work alongside every day with your own smile. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

🦷 Fluoride or fluoride-free… which toothpaste should you be using?

When it comes to preventing tooth decay, fluoride toothpaste remains the evidence-based gold standard and is recommended for most patients.

If you choose to go fluoride-free, a toothpaste containing hydroxyapatite may be an alternative worth considering.

The important thing to remember is that toothpaste isn’t one-size-fits-all. Your age, oral health and individual risk of tooth decay can all affect which toothpaste and fluoride concentration is most appropriate for you.
