🌻Meet the Team Tuesday🌻

Finally, in our Meet the Team series is Helen, our Practice Manager & Pre-Registration Optometrist!

Many of you will already recognise Helen from her years of experience helping patients choose the perfect glasses. She’s supported so many of you with your frames and lenses over the years, and now she’s taken the next exciting step — training to become a fully qualified Optometrist.

Helen is known for carrying out some of the most thorough and relaxed sight tests, making sure every patient feels comfortable and well looked after. She’s currently building up her numbers as she works towards crossing the finish line — and we couldn’t be prouder of her progress!⭐️

Next up is Claire, our Administrator!

Claire is the one behind the scenes keeping everything in order — making sure all the paperwork is ticked, crossed, and correctly filed, while also organising the team and ensuring everyone (and everything) is exactly where it needs to be.😇

You might not see Claire very often… that’s because we keep her right at the top of the building overseeing everything. It’s a looooong way up, but someone has to have the best view of it all!

When she’s not working her magic behind the scenes, Claire enjoys spending time with her family, often looking after her grandchildren and heading off on various adventures together.💗

Next up is Trinity — also known as Trinny or Trin — our Clinic Coordinator in Ramsey!

Trinny is the first friendly face you see and the first voice you hear when you visit us, and she’s always ready to help with anything you need — from booking appointments to ordering contact lenses and everything in between.

She’s also been professionally trained to carry out all of our pre-screening tests, including using our fantastic OCT scanner and retinal imaging camera, helping to ensure your eye care journey runs smoothly and providing the highest quality care❤️

When she’s not at work looking after all of you, Trinny can usually be found dancing her way around Ramsey on a Saturday night! 💃🥂

From our newest team member to our longest serving, the wonderful Ian, our Senior Optometrist!

Ian has been part of the optics world for many years, and what he doesn’t know about eye care simply isn’t worth knowing. He qualified as an optometrist over 50 years ago — right back in the good old days — and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team🤩

You’ll often find Ian carrying out eye examinations, but he also plays an important role supervising Helen as she works towards her further qualifications, and from time to time we even “hide” him away in our practice lab helping to craft your glasses!🤓

When he’s not at work, Ian enjoys spending time shooting and being out in the countryside.

A true fountain of knowledge and a vital part of the team here at Patricia Wild Opticians 👓
